Split Thread "Pizzagate" and images of triangles

Speaking of the royal family and its strong links to Jimmy Savile and now Jeffrey Epstein. What do people make of this logo?

Goodness Gracious no !

Why would they ever do that?

My point was to draw a distinction between young adults and children in order to avoid confusion due to careless language. I suggest it was a recognised cultural norm in ancient Greece for an older man to have a relationship with a young man. And that it was not a recognised cultural norm for men to have sex with children. This does not mean that it did not happen. Such crimes have always happened. You appear to wish to imply that I think they have not.

This thread started out as a perfectly sensible inquiry into whether or not Epstein ran a world Satanic ring. Now look at it; it's got so bat **** insane that by comparison the notion of Epstein running a world Satanic ring has begun to look perfectly sensible.

Posters pointing out that Pizzagate is a nutty conspiracy theory unsupported by any rational evidence are being challenged by others pretending they are saying child sexual abuse does not happen. This thread is going to bring about a world straw shortage.

I doubt very much Ancient Greeks had such a thing as 'age of consent'.

At least with Epstein we know the age of consent in most parts of the USA is 18. There might well be a case for getting that lowered - Alan Dershowitz has argued it should be 16 as that's when people can get an abortion without parental knowledge (iirc) - but in the meantime Epstein is being called a paedophile when the youngest victim the police have spoken of is 14. Some have mentioned a bunch of twelve-year-olds supplied by Jean-Luc Brunel, which so far, is little more than hearsay.

Yes, the fodder is flying. Nonsense abounds. It's part of the joy of C&CT, though. It's sad and funny at the same time.

It's not possible to debunk a CT for a true conspiracist, no matter how stupid or silly it is, so around and around we go.

Doubt based on what? Human societies have been dealing with the issue for as long as there have been human societies. You just assume ancient Greece had no boundaries because something something? Most people don't want to have sex with children. Some do. Some want to have sex with adolescents. That appears to be a different thing, though I have no particular knowledge, but the two routinely get conflated in this thread.

A glance at Wikipedia suggests you may be mistaken.

... Epstein is being called a paedophile when the youngest victim the police have spoken of is 14

Clearly criminal. Whether paedophile is the right term or if that properly means people sexually attracted to children rather than adolescents I don't know and it probably doesn't matter. I'm not arguing that he didn't have sex with underage victims. I'm saying that I think pretending he "ran a world satanic ring" is crazy nonsense which makes absurd theatre of the events and distracts from considering his actual crimes.

You understand that, triangles being a simple geometric shape, they'll find their way into a LOT of logos, right?

It's insane to think that secret societies and groups would broadcast their existence so blatantly, and yet conspiracy theorists think that only they can spot the signs.

Nothing says that you are into raping and murdering little children like triangles do.

I'll let you in on a secret. I worked at Straw Hat Pizza. Obviously I am part of the Illuminati.

Who wants a small Pepperoni? *wink*wink*

In this room that comes as a balanced breath of fresh air.

Not so much. Lacks balance.

With all due respect, an underinformed mix of ignorance and arrogance might sound a little like

You must be joking. They wear their symbology. Jewelry, belt buckles, architecture. You name it.

If you search for such knowledge, try comparing google results to other search engines.

Google makes it a little harder sometimes, when they aren't blocking it altogether. Hong Kong people would agree. Google execs have been recorded confirming writing bias into their system.

Same goes for twitter, FB, youtube, and others, censoring voices they dislike.
