Trump could throw black people into an operating wood chipper and 40% of the electorate would approve. Trump could rape the Statue of Liberty and 40% of the electorate would approve. Trump could steer the Earth straight into the Sun and 40% of the electorate would approve.

His cult of personality is far worse and far more dangerous than any other in history, perhaps only with the exception of Hitler's, and even then it's a close call. He and his followers have the potential to destroy society and civilization as we know it.

It's delicious, isn't it? And it's tactically astute : Trump has been triggered and declared "Black Lives Matter" a hate symbol, entirely missing the fact that BLM has mobilised rather a lot of white people.

Future historians of the Trump Years will go back at least to that point to establish the context in which the Trump Years were feasible. With this, any pretence of good faith in the Republican Senate was abandoned in favour of absolute partisanship. McConnell will be trashed in history far more than Trump (but toddlers will be told that if they don't behave "Trump will come and get them".)

I can't explain it but I agree. Echoes the words of Simon & Schuster, book publishers, who are fighting in court to be able to release "Too Much and Never Enough" by Mary L. Trump to the public.
The book, the publisher says, will shine "a bright light on the dark history of their family in order to explain how her uncle became the man who now threatens the world's health, economic security, and social fabric." CNN report

I thought the book is DEFINITELY coming out. That Donnie's brother filed suit to stop the book because Mary signed an NDA. And the judge refused for 2 reasons. The first is prior restraint. They could in theory go after Mary for damages but they can't stop the book. The second reason is Mary's agreement was with the Estate which doesn't exist any more.

Never mind. I guess they got a temporary restraining order. What a joke. This is clearly prior restraint.

I hate to have to say this again, , but ANY candiate for either of the major parties will get 40% of the vote throuhs sheer party loyalty. It's the 20% that are undecided that decide elections.
The numbare might not be exact, but the idea is. And I think Trump is hurting himself with the undecided more every day.

B.As much as I hate Trump,he not as dangerous as Adlof, Uncle Joe and Mao were.
