He signed some sort of EO saying police should enforce the existing law and thinks he made a new one. If someone does get charged there's going to be a huge first amendment fight.

Meanwhile, VP Pence wore a mask on a visit to despicable bigot "pastor" Robert Jefress today. Jefress not only hates gays, but non-Christians including Muslims, Jews, Mormons and Catholics as well.

There is no way Trump does worse than Hoover. Hoover won 6 states and 59 electoral votes. Trump is guaranteed to do better than that. Biden isn't getting 57% of the vote, either.

Don't get me wrong though. I hope Biden wipes the floor with his sorry ass, and it would be great if Nunberg turns out to be right.

If my residence in Florida convinced me of one thing, it's this, we need to get rid of the electoral college. With 29 electoral votes and status as a swing state, Florida can be the deciding factor in presidential elections. None of my neighbors in Florida, had any business making any important decisions for anyone.

Yeah if every single miracle happens, the absolute, and this is so far on the edges of the bell curve it's as close to impossible as you can get and still intellectually attach the concept of "possible" to it, Trump's still getting 114 electoral votes as an absolute bare minimum. And like I said even that low number includes pie in the sky things like the Dems turning Texas which... outside of a metaphysical level "possible" simply isn't going to happen. If we step back into any level of realistic he's getting 200+ EC Votes.
 
*Shrugs* Trump getting cheated on with be the least problematic part of his presidency.

I have to wonder if Trump (or more likely, his staff) keeps a catalogue of things he can reTweet to co-opt the news cycle. Here one of the things that was being covered was the Russians hiring Tailban to kill Americans, and suddenly Trump reTweets something from the White Power people, and that's where the news is focusing (aside from the Covid-19 issues).

That Russian thing should be the new "Benghazi!"

Normally I have little sympathy for cheaters, but in this case, I totally understand.

Even if it were true, I can honestly say that I don't care about that kind of thing, when it comes to my assessment of political matters. If Melania were an elected official that ran on a platform of "traditional morals," I'd care about the disconnect, but she's not.
