The enthusiasm is undeniable. @realDonaldTrump’s town hall on Fox News drew over 5 MILLION viewers, beating MSNBC and CNN COMBINED!

Lots of people wanting to see what idiocies the Orange Turd would spout next!

That's the only reason I watch Trump at all. I'm rarely disappointed.

So, instead of making college affordable for everyone, let's just hire unqualified people.

sounds more like he's trying to normalise cronyism.

Well of course. I mean colleges are just librul brain washing centers where those uppity out of touch intellectuals with them thar fancy "book learning" go. That's not what 'Murica needs. We need good, salt of the Earth people with common sense and folksy homespun wisdom.

Been out all day putting Trump stickers on rioters cars, then sitting back watching them destroy each other’s cars.
I have been Quarantined for so long i needed a little entertainment and had time to be creative.

She sounds like a real jewel of a woman. How does she know that the cars belong to 'rioters'? Why do I find it unsurprising that Trump would retweet something like this?

He's playing in Virginia instead of NJ. There must be some statues to protect there!

An absolutely frightening thought is that of all the things we know about Donald Trump, there must be many things that have been kept secret that we're going to find out about in the future. They are going to be even more horrible than what we already know.

I'm trying to convince my self that Trump's ego and his lack of any filter or sense of basic human dignity means he's wearing more of his crimes proudly on his sleeve then say, Nixon, and there's not as much dirt to uncover.

I said trying.

Whitehouse PressSec says neither Trump nor Pence were briefed on the "alleged Russian bounty intelligence" first reported by NYT.

This raises the obvious question.
The US had intelligence that Russia was paying militants to kill US & allied troops, and officials decided NOT to tell the president or VP about it?

But then, Fox News has posted a story which matches the New York Times reporting that the president was told months ago that a Russian government paid the Taliban to attack US troops.

Who do we believe?

Remember, the Press Secretary said "I will never lie to you".

Let's pretend for one minute that Trump is not lying when he says he didn't know about the Russians putting a bounty on U.S. personnel. (He did.) If he only learned this week (he didn't), why isn't he announcing what action he's taking in response? (He's not taking any.)

Well, I find it a bit surprising since it seems to be supporting somebody confessing to... well actually *boasting about* her acts of vandalism.

Isn't he supposed to order her immediate arrest?

What’s really important is that he has statues he has to protect! Statues!

Statues!

That was her first lie to us as Press Sec.

I know this sort of response has been done many times but can you imagine the GOP response if a Democratic president knew the Russians were funding bounty hunters to kill American soldiers and yet did absolutely nothing about it. Impeachment would proceed immediately, not to mention the 24/7 howling about treason.

I've come to the conclusion that the effect of the Trump presidency on the GOP has been about as bad as Trump himself. They have displayed an appalling lack of principle and a willingness to subvert democracy at any extreme just to win. Right now I cannot envision myself voting for a Republican again at any level.

This country needs a principled conservative voice to espouse their perspective since the Dems need a counter force to keep them honest. But the GOP cannot fill that role any more. I don't know how change will come about or how long it will take but the status quo is simply untenable. It's unhealthy for pols on both sides of the aisle and, more importantly, unhealthy for the USA.

The precedent Trump set with the Soleimani killing is that foreign officials visiting even the airports of allies can be targeted with drone strikes if they were involved in funding the deaths of US and allied forces.

At the time I made a hypothetical of it coming to pass that Russian officials could be targeted at Heathrow by the same reasoning. Trump supporters said that wouldn't happen because Russia didn't do what Iran did.*

Russia did what Iran did.

So Trump supporters, which Russian officials get the AGM-179 up the tailpipe?

EDIT: *Some also said that it was because Russia is stronger, but screw that.

The Rolling Stones have warned US President Donald Trump that he could face legal action if he continues using their songs at his campaign rallies.

A statement from the band's legal team said it was working with the performing rights organisation, the BMI, to stop the unauthorised use of their music.

The Trump campaign used the song You Can't Always Get What You Want at last week's rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The same song was used by the Trump campaign during the 2016 US election.

"The Rolling Stones do not endorse Donald Trump," the band tweeted in 2016.

In a statement released on Saturday, representatives for the group said that "further steps to exclude" Mr Trump from using Rolling Stones material in future presidential campaigning was necessary after previous "cease and desist directives" had been ignored.

The BMI has reportedly notified the Trump campaign on behalf of the Stones that the use of their songs without permission will constitute a breach of its licensing agreement, and would be subject to legal action.

Russia has rejected as "baseless" accusations that it offered Taliban-linked militants rewards to kill US and other Nato troops in Afghanistan.

The New York Times and Washington Post cited US officials as saying a Russian military intelligence unit linked to assassination attempts in Europe had offered the alleged bounties last year.

The Russian embassy in the US said the claims had led to threats to diplomats.

The Taliban also denied there was any such deal with Russian intelligence.

Like they would admit it anyway.
