Not hardly.

Lex Luthor can tell a series of coherent, consistent lies with a specific purpose.
Lex Luthor can construct and execute short- and long-term plans.
Lex Luthor is a culturally-literate adult with a working knowledge of US and world history.
Lex Luthor has read the Bill of Rights. He might try to subvert some part of it, but he has read it.

Maybe a brain-damaged Lex Luthor.

Frankly if some Lex Luthoresque supervillain or Hydra type organization announced it was taking over the world I suspect most people would just breathe a sigh of relief at the moment. Wait, Trump, Johnson, Brexit, Covid 19, it all makes sense now! I'm off to the conspiracy theories section! ;)

Trump Tweets

If I ever said something so mortifyingly stupid, the Fake News Media would come down on me with a vengeance. This is beyond a normal mistake. Why isn’t the media reporting it?

Biden slammed after wrongly saying ‘we have over 120 million dead from COVID’

Oh, you've done worse than getting numbers wrong, Donald.

Should Congressman Nadler have halted the proceedings and had Gohmert escorted from the room by police? I'm not sure I agree. Unless Gohmert's behavior became truly dangerous, he is the elected representative of his district and a member of the committee holding the hearing, he has a right to attend the hearings. A right to be there. I think any action to strip him of that right should really be a matter of last resort.

I think he should be censured for trying to disrupt hearing, though. I agree, the way he acted was despicable and childish.

Trump Tweets

Coronavirus deaths are way down. Mortality rate is one of the lowest in the World. Our Economy is roaring back and will NOT be shut down. “Embers” or flare ups will be put out, as necessary!

In truth, USA is #9 in the world when it comes to mortality rate.

Then treat him like a child. Could Nadler have given him a time out? Standing in the hallway for fifteen minutes or something, then allowed back in. If he wants to stomp off and tweet to his constituents about how unfair the grown ups are being, well, whatever.

Plus, who gives a **** about what his followers think? Anyone who'd vote for an ******* like him isn't worth listening to. Plus, they don't need a reason to blame everything on the Dems, all they need is an excuse, and stupid lies fill that need more than adequately. Even if he was treated perfectly fairly, in accordance with every rule on the books, he'd just make up some **** in order to claim he's being treated unfairly.

So screw worrying about how this "looks". Kick the ****** out so the committee can actually do its job.

But there are only, like ten countries in the world:

  • 'Murica
  • Canada
  • Mexico
  • Jina
  • England
  • Germany
  • Russia (of which Finland is part - as any fule kno)
  • Korea
  • Australia
  • Africa

So that would make the US the second lowest ;)

I am actually a little surprised.

Not that trump wants to dismantle Obamacare... That was obvious. But that they would want the courts to act now.

I thought the republicans wanted the supreme Court to wait until after the election to rule to avoid any potential blowback.

Which is why I hope (I'm still not ready to say "I think" but I hope) this means the Republicans think "after the election" is less and less certain for them.

Trump's got 130-ish days to get his groove back. He's gonna start playing his hits again.

And the Republicans who stormed the classified hearing room? What should happen to them?

Quote embedded in tweet. Spoiler: it's a load of irrelevant waffle. Trump was unable to answer a softball question from an ally simply asking him what he wants to accomplish in a second term.

Why Does Trump Want a Second Term?

The president can’t answer basic questions about his agenda and isn’t trying to appeal to new voters. So what’s his goal?

I'm sure he will, but after four years of not locking her up, will 'LOCK HER UP!' get them dancing in the aisles in quite the same way?

It's been over 3 years now. Why is this still such a mystery? It starts with "T" and rhymes with "Because he's a big ******* troll."

Or Darth Vader arriving in his Death Star with stormtroopers, who at least wear masks.

"My favorite conspiracy theory has always been that idea that democracy is all one huge sham and that the world is really run by this secret cabal behind the scenes. Man I hope that's true. Because otherwise my life depends on masses of random goobers managing to elect someone competent, and that's about as likely as a drunk man pissing an exact replica of the Mona Lisa in a snowbank." - Scott "Before he went totally troll insane" Adams.

Fixed it out of consideration for our president's very, very large brain.
