A number of sources reporting that Ivanka and Jared are blaming the head of the Trump Campaign for last night''s fiasco.
I would bet the house thaa a lot of fingerpointing and CYA is happening in the Trmp campaign right now. They know that Donnie will demand a sceapgoat for the fiasco,

At this point would Trump being involved in an actual fistfight even surprise us?

Well, he did give that MAGA cap a good punch just before he got off the plane. I think someone handed it to him just before he debarked and he punched it, ostensibly to puff out the top, but it looked like he was thinking "**** this MAGA ****. America sucks. Nobody showed up at my party."

What will they do if it happens at the next rally? Who will they blame for that?

It won't, even if they have to hire 100,000 "extras" to attend. Plenty of people out there who could use 50 bucks for a couple of hours work

At the rally, he called Covid-19 "kung flu." I sort of understand why people support him, but at some point don't you have to revert to being an adult?

At seventy four years old The Trump has never managed to become an adult yet, so there's nothing for him to revert to.

There's no reason to expect that people who have continued to support him in spite of the dismal performance he has presented over the past four years should be any different.

Another reason I wish Warren were the candidate instead. I'm pretty sure she could enter the Avatar State and demolish Trump in a way few could dare to dream of.

She'd eviscerate him. All he could do is call her "Pocahontas" and that would just look childish.

Well they wouldn't have gotten it at all if they hadn't gone and gotten themselves tested. Right?

Right?

So true. Such disloyal losers!

IN case you're wondering, like me, what it looks like here's a screenshot:

And even that's a bit misleading. Behind where that photograph was taken is another roughly half of the floor space that is either empty of used up by the media.

6,200 in a 19,000 arena - not even a third full, and that number includes the Press, which came out in force.

For Trump, this is way, way worse than having no rally at all.

In a choice between supporting Trump or staying safe, Trump does not win.

Wow, those stupid ass rubes have really lowered the bar, cheering, their dear leader for drinking a glass of water.

No, you and several others here are missing the point. They're not cheering him drinking water, they're cheering him giving the finger to the FAKE MEDIA. Same as with his lies. They don't care about whether what he says is true or not, they care that he's sicking it to the elites. To the LAMESTREAM media.

See, he's one of them. In fact, he's just like them. He sneers at the experts, at the coastal elites, at the pinheads in academia, etc. Just like they do. It just feels so good to have a president who feels victimized just like we do. So cheering comes naturally.

Viewed in the context of a cohort who believe politicians don't care about them, who thinks whites as a class are discriminated against more than blacks and who see themselves losing the culture wars, it's no wonder they cheer an act that is seen as a great big FU in front of the whole world.

You're forgetting that vulnerability is a bad thing to Trump and his supporters. He's a weak man pretending to be strong, which means that any demonstration or admission of weakness or needing help is anathema.

“They gave me another disease.”

You're forgetting that vulnerability is a bad thing to Trump and his supporters. He's a weak man pretending to be strong, which means that any demonstration or admission of weakness or needing help is anathema. That's why he insists that he knows more about everything than everyone else and everyone admires his superiority. It's impossible for him to admit that he's in over his head and has been for a long time.
I know what you're saying and you're right that he's adamant about not projecting weakness. But I think his fans themselves will be much more forgiving and sympathetic. Hell, I found him more appealing without the smirk and relentless trash-talking.

ETA: Well "more appealing" is not the right phrase. "Less obnoxious," perhaps.

You guys, there’s so many fox news reporters that are mad at me right now it makes me giggle. For some reason trump supporters only have 3 arguments... 1. Shut up. 2. You’re a man 3. You’re irrelevant. Yet here they are on my page! Giggles all day thanks.

Trump Tweets

Our Coronavirus testing is so much greater (25 million tests) and so much more advanced, that it makes us look like we have more cases, especially proportionally, than other countries. My message on that is very clear!

“His (President Trump’s) policies set a foundation that allowed us to survive the pandemic.” @HeyTammyBruce @SteveHiltonx @FoxNews
True, we built something so strong that we are now setting economic growth records again - Jobs & Growth!!!

A Democrat win in 2020 would be a tragic setback for African Americans!
