Which is and always will be BS. He doesn't do jokes, what passes for humor for Trump is based entirely on insults.
The first question at the next press conference (or debate or whatever) should be "over 100,000 people died... Do you think it is appropriate to make Covid19 jokes?"

Act like it wasn't a lie and make Stubby Mcbonespurs try to defend himself.

I see four masks, two of which aren't being worn properly. How comforting.

Not wearing a mask has become a sign of loyalty to Trump. The MAGA hat of 2020.

Odds are that at least one person in that crowd was spreading COVID-19. Next weekend some of those seated near that person will start to show symptoms. If they are smart they will self isolate. It will be too late to keep others living in the same house from catching the disease but may stop it from spreading beyond their family.

What is concerning is that hard core Trump supporters are likely to deny that the have the disease. They will not self isolate or get tested. They are also unlikely to cooperate with public health officials trying to do contact tracing.

I think he was a some points actually making some jokes. And being very sarcastic. (Example: "Oh, look! Here's a glass of water! How did that get here?") But that was far outweighed by the lying.

I think those odds are a lot higher than one. Six people in the advanced team got infected someplace. They went to restaurants in Tulsa, no masks. I assume they stayed in hotels.

Who did they get infected from? Locals.

How did six people turn up with positive tests at the same time? Possibly (likely) because they are not the only people in the advanced team who got infected. More people would have been incubating the infection but who don't have enough virus yet to test positive.

Not to worry! Rally attendance is substantially below expectations; the overflow area is being dismantled as I type because, well, there wasn't any.
Antifa and the lugenpresse are of course responsible.

I think it is a sign that Trump's votes will also be below his expectations.

1) They went to a Trump rally.
2) During a pandemic.

Neither points to them being smart.

Eight states over 1000 new cases yesterday, all of them bar California Republican or Republican-leaning. And all including California in warmer parts of the country. Remember when it was just going to go away when it warmed up in April?

We are heading for 110F today.

1. We don't have much more room to go - when is the virus supposed to wimp out?
2. If other states have to get above 110, the rest of you are all ******.:eye-poppi

Current calculations of Rt indicate that COVID-19 infections are accelerating in about half the states.

ETA: The states with higher numbers need to do something right away to increase social distancing.

Arizona has had fourteen days in June with daytime highs of 105° or higher. But as the chart below shows, high temperatures are not slowing the infection. In fact, on Friday the state had almost triple the number of new cases it had on June 2nd. Health officials have repeatedly cautioned people, there's so much that is unknown about Covid-19, we have to be cautious. What we don't know might kill us. :(

It turns out that the administration is still sitting on nearly a third of the funds that Congress provided two months ago for testing and contact tracing.

The Trump administration has yet to distribute nearly one-third of the funds provided by Congress for coronavirus testing and contact tracing, leading Senate Democrats say.

The Department of Health and Human Services has neither spent nor detailed how it plans to spend $8 billion out of a $25 billion pot to be used for stemming the virus’s spread through diagnostic and antibody testing and contact tracing, Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) charge. The funds were provided as part of the fourth pandemic relief bill passed by Congress at the end of April.

Having trouble finding a way to embezzle it or channel it to cronies?

An agency spokeswoman noted that Congress largely didn’t provide specific directions for where the rest of the money should go. Michael Caputo, assistant secretary for public affairs, said Congress “failed to give the agency clear direction in law for how to spend the money.”

Gee, maybe they expect you to know how to do your job.
