And yes, I know there are five months to go and who knows what's going to happen. I also think a difference between 2016 and now is that Trump is a known quantity.

Trump is a known quantity, he has a record to run on (and it's not good), voters who decided "my vote doesn't matter" (and sat out/voted 3rd party) before may change their minds now that they see what can happen, the democratic primary was a lot less problematic for the democrats, and Biden hasn't had the same long-term mud slinging directed at him than Hillary did.

If it were a fair election trump would be at a big disadvantage.

I don’t know where you got the idea that the Boogaloo guys are mythical. One literally just got arrested for the murder of two federal agents. Here is an article if you want to look into it.

People who identify as Boogaloo or Antifa are not mythical. Even groups of people. But the organizations themselves do not exist. There is no website, no leader, and just vague rules.

I am aware that many right wingers are painting antifa as an actual organization. I was unaware that anyone had claimed the same for boogaloo types.

In many important ways, the Boogaloos are an organization in the sense that they follow a particular playbook. And that entails attacks that are set up to be, superficially, acts by "Lone Wolves", but are in furtherance of the overarching goal of "liberating" the US through violence.

I think that all confirms my statement. There are no "Antifa Inc." or "Boogaloos Inc." organisations, with any leaders, headquarters or formal, legal entities, etc. They are not even a national club with recognised ethics and goals. They certainly are not a cohesive movement either like BLM. So in that sense, they do not exist in any form that the cross-eyed spit-flecked right and left seems to think they do. Antifa is as much a left-wing socialist army as Boogaloos are righteous protectors of the US vision and freedoms. That is, neither are that at all. It has all been labeling and posturing from individuals.

Both these "groups" exist more as ideas, as a playbook as Z says. And individuals are acting on these ideas in general line with this playbook. Just that the Boogaloos overlap more with the nutcase militias and thus have more guns. That embravens them to try more really stupid and more deeply illegal stuff.

Over all this, though, is the layer of mud-slinging on both sides which hides reality. The Trumpistas have no problem calling Antifa "socialist" despite the actual name being Anti-Fascist, not Pro-Communist, simply because it suits their warped narrative to do so. And calling the Boogaloos an organised army is an oxymoron on both words.

Last week, Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin told Congress at a hearing that the names of loan recipients and the amounts would not be released because they are “proprietary information.”

Proprietary information?
A) Trump doesn’t own the government!
B) One withholds proprietary information to stop competitors from copying one’s success. What, other countries are going to make better loans if they discover how the US makes loans?

This is what happens when a person who has never run a publicly-traded business, an NGO, a state, or a city becomes president. Trump has no idea why he has to provide accurate information to congress and regulatory agencies.
