Trump's opponents and the Deep State are "children of darkness" and the coronavirus crisis and the recent demonstrations are 'social engineering" by his enemies.

In a June 7 letter addressed to President Trump and obtained by Newsmax, Viganò writes that the President’s enemy is “the children of darkness – whom we may easily identify with the deep state which you wisely oppose and which is fiercely waging war against you in these days . . .”

“We will also discover that the riots in these days were provoked by those who, seeing that the virus is inevitably fading and that the social alarm of the pandemic is waning, necessarily have had to provoke civil disturbances, because they would be followed by repression which, although legitimate, could be condemned as an unjustified aggression against the population,” Viganò wrote.

An Italian court has ordered Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the former papal nuncio to the United States, to pay back to his brother, the Rev. Lorenzo Viganò, more than $2 million, plus interest, which he had, according to the Italian press, “illegally and illegitimately” taken from him over many years.

Probably not that simple given the information Stacyhs passed on. I suspect the grasping clergyman is sucking up to the "rich" president because he's looking for ways to make money. Being a former ambassador to the US (that's what a "Papal nuncio" is for those who don't know Vatican nomenclature), gives him what he thinks is an in.

Yeah! I mis-spelled that on purpose, so I was depressed when Stacy mentioned correct spelling. I was going to edit the post empty, and then repost it with "phony" the way Trump deletes mis-spelled tweets.

I don't think so. He didn't want to be the papal nuncio to the US. From the same article I linked earlier:

Father Lorenzo [the brother who won the lawsuit] told the paper he could not believe it when he learned that Archbishop Viganò had sought in a letter to Benedict XVI on July 7, 2011, to persuade the pope not to send him to the United States as nuncio, alleging that he should remain in Rome because he had to take care of his very sick brother who was physically and mentally weak after a stroke. Father Lorenzo told the Italian daily: “It was a lie, he did not have relations with me for years! He wrote something false to the pope.” In the end, Benedict sent the archbishop to Washington, D.C., following a conflict inside the Vatican caused by the fact that Archbishop Viganò had accused one or more Vatican persons of corruption. A subsequent internal Vatican investigation concluded this was not the case.

Maybe, but I think anyone who scribbles about the children of darkness and COVID-19 being an operation of social engineering has a few screws loose.
 
Trump has to keep eroding the concept of truth.

He can't just lie or be dishonest, he has to make another strong coordinated attack on the very concepts of factualness and truth.

Or they're just a terrible human being.

It's one thing when random nutters on the Internet make up and believe in CTs that are patently false. It's easy to pity someone who's gullible and powerless. I'm afraid that I presume ill intent when the educated and powerful do so.

I have not seen any action taken as a result of that potential fraud. Compare that to poor Crystal Mason who got sentence to five years for an illegal vote. Five. freakin'. years.

Since 2014, at least 12,668 people have voted using a provisional ballot in Tarrant county and 88% of them have been rejected because the voter was not eligible. Mason is the only voter who used a provisional ballot who was prosecuted for illegal voting.
