In any form of competition of finess, fitness, strength, fighting or intellect, I'd put my money on Mattis over Gorka.

I see Trump is starting to seed the ground with "Oh I have just so much dirt on everyone... be a shame if I didn't get re-elected and didn't have anything better to do but share it..." crap.

I sincerly doubt Trump has any dirt on anyone that didn't just fall of him while h was close to them.

Also... the Marines rank Mattis somewhere slightly above "God" so... that's not going to go over well with them.

Well, I'm sure 90% of those dirt 'stories' are basically those people not falling over themselves to obey Trump's stupid ideas or fawn over him. Which is all Trump ever factors in to whether a person is 'good' or 'overrated'.

You are far out when even your lies don't pan out. Even supposing this apparent nonsense was true, police is not supposed to push people over. Arrest them, fine, but just push them over, no.

How is bringing in the National Guard "letting the police do their job" unless you're so stupid as to see police action and military action as the same thing and I just answered my own question and made myself sad.
 
Surprising absolutely nobody, Trump's elderly Antifa provocateur conspiracy theory may have come from an OAN story. It matches most of the details.

Trump appears to have developed this, uh, theory from watching a clip on the One America News Network, the Fox News of Fox News.
In the segment, footage is shown that suggests the man, Martin Gugino, 75, "was appearing to use common Antifa tactics" when he approached the officers." That tactic? Using his phone to "scan" police communication. The OAN reporter claims that Gugino was using police tracking software on his phone. But there's absolutely no way of telling that from the clip; what's on the screen of Gugino's phone is not visible. And he could just be gesturing with the phone. Again, there's simply no way of knowing.

I too have this "police tracking software" on my phone - there are a bunch of free police scanner websites and apps. My 80-year-old dad also listens to the police scanner on a radio set at his home. Maybe I should go push him over.
