Yeah. The "We only let the crazies run for offices we don't care about" argument carried a lot more weight before they nominated Trump for president.

It's not clear to me whether that comment comes from stupidity or whether it is merely the best dissembling he could do, given that his Prime Directive is to always say that he is the best, his work is the best, etc. Maybe it's a little of both, but it's not clear that it's just stupidity.

I did my best to rationalize this into something meaningful. One could look at number per capita with respect to state, but not relative to state, for example.

I'm sure you both know this, but twitter is the medium. Anything Trump tweets from his POTUS account is an official statement from the office of the President of the United States.

They absolutely should not ban him as long as he is President. I don't think it would be in the public interest.

Twitter is private company. I think they should be able to do anything, regardless public interest. I certainly would like Trump's tweets to be automatically modified to have every second letter uppercase.

Fat chance of that ever happening. trump is their golden goose, bringing in tons of pageviews, so why would they ever want to limit him?

They are clearly to blame. Suppose Trump wins the election, then what? Get rid of all of "them": UN, FBI, WHO, CDC, Fauci, Europe, congress. Trump does not work with any of those entities.
