Probably a lie by exaggeration rather than an outright lie. Common narcissistic behavior. A former team member now feuding with Trump didn't just ask for a job; no, s/he came "begging" for a job. HUNDREDS of patients.

The visual setup for that particular briefing was weird (when he claimed to be taking the HCQ). It look like he had a Muppeteer controlling his hands on long sticks from below the table, like Kermit the Frog.

I called it up on CSPAN. Around 1:23, POTUS really gets into it. I laughed so much that it was hard to breathe. Once you see it, it is impossible to ignore.

Also, he really needs to get better fitting clothes. Cuffs that large make his hands look small.

There are 170 days between now and the election.
If I were the Democratic Party, I’d pick the 170 most egregious examples of Trump’s lies and debunk one each day. Call it the Lie of the Day. Spend money publicizing the first ten and then just send out press releases - a lot of news agencies will consider the LotD to be news and will cover it for free.

That is just the right pace. The media will call the WH and ask for a response. Trump’s administration won’t have time to provide a useful response. Trump will insist on saying something stupid. And the 24-hour news cycle doesn’t care about yesterday, so if the GOP responds to something that is more than 18 hours old, it won’t be covered as much as today’s LotD.

I think this is an absolutely wonderful idea.

It won't make a dent in his base, of course. But it might sway some fence sitters and energize the rest of the voters. The ones smart enough to be fed up with Trump.

Homeopathic “medicine” is used around the world for many things as well, this doesn’t make it a viable treatment.

HCQ is about as effective as homeopathy and is far more dangerous. Even when prescribed and administered properly there can be side effects and correct dosage is sensitive enough physicians not completely familiar with it can easily err.
