From Wikipedia:
ETA: For reference, Brunswick Georgia is 59.23% Black
Try living somewhere with that percentage some time. Check back with me.
That's really stupid.

So, what you are saying then is that Aussies don't feel the need to have an armed populous because they have a very small number of immigrant black people, whereas because this part of Georgia is over 50% black it is natural that the white locals will want to have guns?
willwantneed to have guns
Yep. Slight modification though:
People can call me racist all they want about this, it's not like they haven't called me that 100 times already. Call it what you want, it's an acknowledgement of reality. Blacks have a very, very high crime rate - regardless of what any person wants to attribute that to, it remains a reality - and so if you want to be safe and have your items not get stolen, and you live around people with a very high crime rate, you need to be proactive about watching out for your neighborhood and you need to be armed.

It's been repeatedly demonstrated in this thread that they were not, as they had no reasonable grounds for suspicion that Arbery had committed anything more than a misdemeanor and no direct knowledge that he had committed even that. In your interpretation of the law, summary execution for dropping a crisp packet would be impossible to prosecute as a crime.
My understanding is that the first call was made by Travis, the second one was made by Greg as they were in the truck tailing Ahmaud.
That phrase was not the entirety of that call, was it?
Why do you keep bringing race into it?
I haven't mentioned that once.
And it is completely and utterly irrelevant to what I said.
Again, I can't understand the relevance of this to what I said.

If all they wanted to do was to get this guy arrested then anyone with even rudimentary intelligence could have achieved this without anyone getting hurt.
Again, and we saw this with the Guyver thread as well, we're for some reason forced to accept what the people who gunned down the black person claim about their state of mind as accurate without question.
Again we are being told we have to start at "Well we asked the person are you a racist and they said no so I guess that's case closed" and stay there.
Also racism works backwards there because of the Coriolis Effect. That's just science.
Especially since Arbrey was apparently known to McMichaels. One of the defences of him is that he recognised him from his career as a cop and therefore knew he was bad news.
Of course, if you know who someone is then you don't need to follow them at all. You can just tell the police who they are.
... snipped for relevance ...

It was the entirety of what was said to the dispatcher. It was said at the start of the call, which lasted for nearly 5 minutes in its entirety.

That was not the entirety of what was said. That's what he said before he got cut off by the 911 operator. If you listen to the recording you can hear that he keeps talking while the 911 operator is saying "Where at Satilla Shores?". I can't hear what he says, but he is saying something more.
I do find it suspicious that it appears that he put the phone on mute just when Travis and Arbery are engaging.
