For those who were wondering, I actually tracked down what this one was about when I saw it a few days ago. Out of several dozen transcripts released, amounting to several thousand pages, they had about 5 or 6 quotes. When you look at the transcripts, all but one quote was taken out of context, to make them look better than they actually were, and none actually show any reason to conclude that "Adam Schiff knew all along that there was no proof of Russia-Trump collusion".

Also note the use of the phrase "proof of Russia-Trump collusion". It sets a ridiculously high standard, that lets them ignore all the evidence that isn't "proof" all by itself. They also restrict that to "Russia-Trump", which lets them ignore all the evidence involving Russian interactions with people other than Trump, who were working for Trump. And, of course, "collusion", which lets them ignore the all the "wink and nod" interactions, that weren't direct collusion, but which clearly still happened, and benefited both Trump and Russia.

So, the best they can find is weak, misrepresented quotes, even to support their very narrow construction of the debate.

I am kind of conflicted about this.

On one hand, reducing the number of people in prison to stop disease transmission makes sense.

On the other hand, he is only a few years into a more than 7 year sentence.

The simple question is: will everyone else get released, too?
 
I see El Orango is trying to undermine fundaments of what passes for democracy in USA. I mean, more than usual. Most likely because there is pretty high chance he will lose reelection due to COVID-19 failtastic handling. Good riddance.

At this stage, Republicans are wannabe authoritarian party working hard to remove "wannabe" part.

Sooner or latter they will have to be dealt with like their spiritual predecessors were in USA's first civil war or their spiritual brothers in WWII.

As I have said for a long time, dealing with China is a very expensive thing to do. We just made a great Trade Deal, the ink was barely dry, and the World was hit by the Plague from China. 100 Trade Deals wouldn’t make up the difference - and all those innocent lives lost!

When the so-called “rich guys” speak negatively about the market, you must always remember that some are betting big against it, and make a lot of money if it goes down. Then they go positive, get big publicity, and make it going up. They get you both ways. Barely legal?

I've been wondering about that. I wouldn't be surprised to learn he's been trying to have them arrested ever since taking office but cooler heads have prevailed. With Barr he's got the kind of AG who might actually do it.
