Biden for President?

I honestly didn’t think I’d see a conservative take the defense of this past semantic quibbling. (Most, of course, have been smart enough to not even try to defend it.)
Anything to Control the Conversation. Like when a teacher is trying to have a classroom discussion and some kid shouts out some weird thing for attention or to be disruptive, often the best move is to ignore them and carry on.

By the way:
Not even the only case.

Edit: I'm reminded of that joke image online about how you could straighten out a power outlet by inserting the prongs of a fork. I always kept thinking at the back of my head, what if a small child or a mentally challenged person saw that and actually tried it.

This is like that, just that it's the President of the United States standing there wondering if you could straighten out a broken power outlets with a fork, and that it's clearly not a joke to him.

Apparently, they did not debunk Tara Reade's claim. They NYT did report "No other allegation about sexual assault surfaced in the course of reporting, nor did any former Biden staff members corroborate any details of Ms. Reade's allegation. The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden."

It's much worse than that:

" 'The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden, beyond the hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.' The second part of that line was removed later at the request of the Biden campaign, according to New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet."

Where you aware of this? If not, why not?

I would not want to mess with Jill Biden. Seeing her in action that time as she grabbed a protester and Mrs. Biden seemed to be prepared to bodily heave the (vegetarian protester) off the stage.

Something tells me Biden would be too frightened of her to do something that would piss her off. Such as touchy-feelie-over-the-line.

Nope. And because I'm not intent on finding all the dirt on Biden that you are.

I'm indifferent toward Joe Biden, except that he seems to be a dinosaur (albeit probably harmless and not a sexual Predator or tyrannosaurus). The news about the Times' edited sentence is several days old.

Something tells me she's a loving and supportive wife, who's willing to forgive his peccadillos for the sake of their marriage and his career. As long as we're doing the free-association inkblot thing, I mean.

Anyway, Jill Biden is probably a good pick, for Veep. She's a woman, she's 100% Team Biden, and she's hale and hearty.

Well, there's almost as much reason for that as there ever was to want Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton as President (before they gave her the résumé fillers).

Pointing out that Biden got true statements about him removed from an article: bad.

Biden having done that very thing: meh.

This pisses me off when R's do it.

It is no better a look for us.

I have no doubt that those polls will be as accurate as all the 2016 polls. I'm willing to bet both our lives on it.

It must be nice to be that certain. But, I suggest that you don't get too cocky; you may be as surprised the day after the election as the Dems were in 2016.

It's about as sincere as the "I'm not a Trump supporter, but...."

I'd like to think that my analyses and observations can withstand or not withstand scrutiny on their own merits. Disagreement with me is not a challenge to my identity.
For what it's worth, like the old cliche says, you're the reason Trump will win in 2020.
