As America’s self-quarantine drags on, millions across the panicked nation are glued to social media more than ever before, in part to fill the void left by zero human interaction, in part to keep up with each twist of the developing story. Which is why, when Oprah Winfrey’s name shot to the top of Twitter’s trending page at around 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, many speculated that, like fellow super celebs Tom Hanks and Kevin Durant, the billionaire icon had tested positive for coronavirus. Luckily, Oprah is safe; rather, her name cropped up in relation to a QAnon conspiracy theory alleging that an illuminati-like group of elites are running an international pedophile operation that Donald Trump is quietly working to destroy. Hordes of QAnon followers promoted the libelous claim that Oprah had been arrested in Florida over her involvement.

Ok, in this entirely animated video, Noam Chomsky is name dropped and credited for his piece "Manufactured Consent." The video then takes off in its own direction that bears some similarities to Chomsky's conclusions and uses similar verbiage, but the visual elements clearly lean towards suggesting a, appropriately, cartoonishly evil hive mind of connected components at work.

Chomsky correctly pointed out several systemic flaws and weaknesses of journalism as a capitalist enterprise. He did not suggest that all those abusing it were doing so in a massively coordinated master plan. I'm as An/Syn (or Lib/Soc if you prefer) as it gets, and I don't understand people who make Chomsky into the John the Baptist of NWO gospel.

So shame on Al Jazeera English for name dropping him only to twist his conclusions to something else. Especially in a piece about, oh right, propaganda.

P.S. more destructive than a smoothly executed master plan? A whole lot of competing interests pumping out different framing and intended "consent" for different reasons so that it's hard for the plain truth to be found.

The Benghazi attacks and the right-wing reaction can be viewed as a more recent example of what was pushed in those circles after the attack on the U.S.S. Liberty
 
Only one person was given significant mention, in the article linked in post 2116.

The author probably figured that person's name was all that skeptic and other wizards would need to apply their legendary critical thinking skills to the circles the person played in. Scotland Yard apparently did so.


Of all the crazy places, that wacky tin foil hat internet sees clamor rising daily about related suspicions/allegations and the ever growing cracks seen in the professional non-reporting by the epstein hushup industry. That was a close call for Clinton and company. Lucky for them, Epstein killed himelf !

"Qanon" says justice is coming for them. Q or no Q, all involved do deserve justice. The clamor consensus indicates growing conviction that the day is coming.
