Thanks, quite different from the news article:
The study was conducted by comparing the blood group distribution in 2,173 patients with COVID-19 confirmed by SARS-CoV-2 test from three hospitals in Wuhan and Shenzhen, China with that in normal people from the corresponding regions.
By "normal people" I assume they mean the normal distribution of blood types.

Great, one more risk factor for me and my son: A-

The ABO blood group in 3,694 normal people in Wuhan displayed a percentage distribution of 32.16%, 24.90%, 9.10% and 33.84% for A, B, AB and O, respectively, while the 1,775 patients with COVID-19 from Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital showed an ABO distribution of 37.75%, 26.42%, 10.03% and 25.80% for A, B, AB and O, respectively

There is always the lodge where people go after skiing for food and drink. It's not like you go from your room/hotel/cabin to the slopes and back.
True.

Plus, if you have ever been skiing, you'll know your nose runs whether you are sick or not. When you are done, the gloves come off, and you need to carry your skis with you in clunky boots that are hard to walk in. There are always metal grated stairs to remove the snow and prevent ice forming. They ALL have them. This means LOTS of handrails everyone is touching after just wiping their runny noses.

...
I hope you are paying attention to how much death and economic destruction in the US really can be blamed directly on incompetrump.

I'll be waiting on you to show actual examples. ( Just one at a time please. )You can start with one actual death that was caused by President Trump .

Meanwhile, if we had an infinite supply of tests, How would you suggest those tests be carried out? Just a brief logistical scenario.

No matter how good US doctors are, we just do not have S. Korea's unique experience dealing with this.

False.

In 2015 S. Korea had an outbreak of MERS that infected > 150 people, killed > 30 people. This outbreak scared the **** out of the people and the government and affected the economy.

As a result the country ramped up on supplies. IOW they were just more prepared than the rest of the ******* world.

It has nothing to do with having more experience than any other country.

Re testing: NY took testing upon themselves, not relying on the CDC, and are testing tens of thousands of people now.

They have more cases but also are testing more people. Cuomo says they have more cases but not 15 times more cases. IOW they are testing people when the rest of the states are still struggling to test.

Thanks incompetrump.

Edited: No, they did not have an outbreak of MERS.

In this day of data at everyone's fingertips, the US knew this was coming. The GOP and incompetrump ignored the risk as they toasted their tax cut success.

I knew it! I showed you the ******* evidence and you simply ignored it. :(

We should be testing everyone. Identify the cases and you can prevent them spreading the infection. Ignore asymptomatic spreaders and it's like the ambulance at the bottom of the hill approach.

Senator Rand Paul has joined the ranks of the infected.

Just after delaying the Corona econmic relief bill with some uselss amendments...
Karma can be a real bitch.
I wonder how his daddy feels, since Ron Paul has been promoting the "Corona Virus is an NWO conspiracy" thoery on his website for the past week....

Have you heard anything about gas-mask Gaetz yet? I tried to find out and the news is silent. Cruz announced coming out of isolation. He was the only one to make such an announcement.

Should be easy to show one out of ~348 ..

Please explain the logistics of how that would be carried out. Not just the swabbing, but the process of carrying out the tests.

This would also include details of how President Trump could personally make this happen.

Perhaps my definition of 'experience' is different than yours. I meant they have many doctors who have dealt with this particular SARS-CoV-2 virus already...successfully.

They have done the testing. They have seen and treated many patients (though they aren't done yet). US is just beginning.

If S. Korea had doctors available for us now, I think it is a logical choice.

Here is what Ron Paul has been saying about the Corona Virus:

http://www.ronpaulinstitute.org/arc...us-hoax/?utm_source=quora&utm_medium=referral

I repeat, wonder how Ron Paul feels about this now...

Libertarians are in denial about the virus, because it will take strong Government action to contorl it, and any Government action is total anathema to the Libertarians.

If you are wetting yourself over this, what is going to happen if President Trump or one of his cabinet members tests positive?

What about Pelosi or one of her minions?

A personal day of moaning?

You're moving the goalposts. The president sets the tone. He announced there were plenty of tests; his administration did not demonstrate any urgency about laying in a supply. Government bungled the quarantine of cruise ship patients. His pervasive underplaying of the danger while talking about the stock market was meant as a distraction. He's done everything he can to promote very tenuous hopes for treatment and to understate the time needed to develop a safe, effective vaccine. Oh, plus lying and publicly contradicting infectious disease specialists - a recipe for sowing rumor and mistrust.

He's the president. He has scads of people under him in the Executive Branch that look to him for leadership. Proving that he, personally, caused a particular fatality is a) probably impossible and b) totally unnecessary to make the case that his administration was caught flat-footed and that the disease spread as a result.

ETA: Logistics for universal testing. Guess what, the direction has to come from the top, tests need to be made available and experts need to work out the sequence of how people would be tested. Just being able to test everyone that has presented for treatment would have helped. We don't have to barge into folks' homes demanding a sputum sample (at this point). I read at one point there was a shortage of *swabs* - a piece of cotton on a stick, as far as I can tell. Why weren't more ordered? Trump can ramp up production of respirators/ventilators; don't tell me no one foresaw the need for certain materials to conduct the tests. Even if the entire sequence of the test could not be completed at once, widespread sampling could have started already even if the swabs had to remain "on ice" waiting for gene sampling. (I say "on ice" because I'm not sure how to store samples until they can be tested).

At the very least, he and the crowd from Wal-Mart etc. could have goosed the production of hand sanitizer; it's not a complicated product; we're up to our ears in ethanol.

I think your rhetorical skepticism is causing you to overestimate the difficulties of expanded testing. ETA: Or to set the bar so high you ignore what could have been done short of the door-to-door scenario.

Easy. Do what South Korea has been doing, which relies on extensive testing and the resulting ability to specifically identify, isolate, and treat the infected.

Or as China is now doing. And Japan to a lesser decree.

Speaking of a lack of available tests:

NYPost: Coronavirus-infected Rep. Ben McAdams ‘concerned’ for 400 members in Congress
Infected Rep. Ben McAdams said Thursday that his coronavirus symptoms were initially dismissed by his doctor — and he fears for the almost 400 members of Congress who were with him in the House just hours before he fell sick.
“I’m feeling pretty bad. I think this is probably the worst cold I’ve ever had,” McAdams, 45, one of two reps who were in Congress Saturday to have since tested positive, told the “Today” show from his home Thursday.

What about
What about what?

If Trump tests positive he will no longer to be able to contend we had this virtually locked down back in January or whenever. A teachable moment for him and people who for unfathomable reasons trust him. A "You're doing a great job, Brownie" moment. And he will blame Pence, or more likely the media.
