As cathartic as some of us might find that moment, I believe most people (of a mind to give such a plea) also realize that about 5 minutes after doing so is when the mass looting begins.

I agree. It must be gut wrenching for Fauci but there is no question that not kissing up to Trump means replacement with someone who will. Fauci will deserve an extra medal for his dedication to the health of the public despite personal queasiness when this is all over.

I think you have come to belierve the Trump is unbeatable. I disagree.
I think the virus is changing everything. Yesh, he will have his base, but I thnk he is losing the swing voters fast.

It's too bad about this virus because I want Dr. Fauci at my card game. Not only does he do the face-dance, he covers it with his hand. He's one of the leading experts on contagious viruses and he's touching his hand to his face!

He's there because no one in the military or law enforcement has the guts to remember their oath to the Consitution and the people, take out their service weapon, and say "Donald J. Trump, you are under arrest and hereby removed from office."

Yes, this ^

Incompetrump minions are a vanishing species. The virus is affecting everyone in the country. It's not something the alt-white can blame on the Chinese and brown people when it hits so close to home. The Chinese and brown people simply don't make adequate scapegoats.
