I heard several of them say "Wash your hands", but no one says "Don't shake hands." We don't have to have an alternative without feeling silly about it. Elbow bump, no. Pretend hug, no. And no, no one is going to do the Spock salute as jokingly suggested by one Senator. (although, there are a couple of greetings I've seen on ST:TOS that would work very well.)

Dunno if I agree. He may not make any sense but can go on for extended periods non-stop.
That's about 90% of being a successful speaker.
 
Trump says he will sign the bill. He wants credit for it on the same day as his badly worded emergency announcement. If Mitch holds this up past Mon, looks bad for GOP for election.:mad:

I don't mind having a couple of business leaders at his side...private business is going to play big role in this..but the product placement was outrageous.

Yes...but that was for a stupid TV show. It stands out even more now that he's ...I can barely say it...POTUS.

People keep saying stuff like that. I'm not sure why.

With their unshakable hold on the 40-something% of brain-dead deplorables and energetic voter suppression (with ever-increasing numbers of judges in their pocket) and media lying campaigns, I don't see why they have any reason to worry any more than they already have been.

It isn't like Trump supporters are ever going to hold Trump responsible for anything. If that were going to happen it already would have. And as goes Trump so goes the GOP. They're joined together at the wrists and ankles now. For better or worse.

It's a bit grim, but Coronavirus kills Republicans at a higher rate than Democrats. The 65+ bracket is when the death rate starts to look scary and that is an age group that is majority GOP. Enough people die, some close elections could break to the Democrats, even if no one changes their votes.

Look, either major party is going to get probably 45% of the vote automatically. It's the undecided 10% that decide elections.
I think the vote suppresion is disgusting. but not sure how likely it is to swing an election.

As I can keep on saying, if things are as bad as some people say, they should be preparing for armed resistence.

Some people are just questioning the wisdom of dragging them in front of the cameras. Just a statement about "we have talked to stores to ensure available supplies" is enough.

It's not about supplies. They are offering their parking lots to be used by mobile testing facilities.
 
Man I hate the opinion news some times. I can't believe how ridiculous it can be. 2 weeks ago I saw multiple articles saying that Trump's reelection was a foregone inevitability. And today I saw several articles saying that his presidency was over.

It's March people, not late October or November. Nobody knows ****.
