And at exactly the moment where an attempt at sincerity and contrition would be most effective. I don't want to start counting my chickens so early, but the idea of reelecting him seems even more insane than it did a month ago, and it already seemed quite mad.

ETA: How great would it be if he lost a primary?
 
Asked what the CDC/NIH is doing to ramp up ventilator production, Fauci just denied it would be needed because he expects they will be doing such a good job of flattening the curve.

Now whatsherface Dr Burk, is misunderstanding and therefor misrepresenting the numbers of % positive tests coming back from Quest Diagnostics. More lies downplaying the crisis.

And still he blames everyone but himself, that he can ignore everything he has been saying over the last few weeks is just jaw dropping.
 
Trump was just pressed on why he closed the previous pandemic office (or somesuch). You must watch that brief exchange. It is hilarious. He tries to deflect to Fauci who shrugs and says I don't know anything about that.
 
And the Canadian PM apparently rang Trump to tell Trump how well Trump was dealing with the virus. (Did I mention Trump enough, Trump?)
 
That "I am not responsible" remark just cost Trump the respect of 90% of the officers in the US Military. The guy in command is responsible for everything that happened in his unit or on his watch. If people under him screwed up, he should have seen the signs taken corrective measures.

For a Republican that bangs porn stars and wants a space force he has a surprisingly low amount of support among the military as it is.

To be fair, he also wants them assisting in border security and building his stupid wall, jobs for which our military is ill suited. It's not surprising that members of the military increasingly join the majority of Americans who think he's the worst.

I hope he and Pence both catch it and die at the same moment so that someone who knows what they're doing (Pelosi) can be President until Biden is elected.

Not only are the military ill-suited to border security, they are legally prohibited from doing it.
