What's most depressing is that Trump is stupid, ignorant, crude, mean, corrupt, dishonest, disordered and concerned only about himself. And yet he has the support of 40+% of Americans. Imagine what somebody smarter, smoother, slicker and more charismatic could do to promote an equally poisonous agenda, or worse.

I am quite sure that smarter, smoother, slicker, and more charismatic people are already well past just imagining. With the political ignorance demonstrated by a significant percentage of the population the future of the US looks rather scary.

There's plenty of both professional and amateur pictures and video of Air Force One during the event today.

It's hard to tell from the angles I've seen but it didn't seem to get as low as the picture released and then retracted earlier today.

Or it could have been an honest mistake.

But even the honest mistake still highlights a huge problem.
There is no real effort to get things right. One’s work product is never checked by a editor or fact-checker or supervisor. If the guy in charge dismisses the idea of proofreading, why should anyone else put in the effort.

Thus, people using the federal database see that Wakanda is a US trading partner.
Peter Parker, Aunt May, and Bruce Wayne are listed as interns that worked on an economic report.
POTUS Cannot send out three consecutive tweets without grammar, logic, spelling, or factual errors.

Trump tweeted that Zuckerberg said he was the most liked person of FB, followed by Modi, PM of India.

Of course, neither Trump nor Modi are the most liked by a huge margin. But Modi has twice the likes that Trump has.
No surprise there, and no surprise Trump lied about his popularity. He can't do otherwise.

The stupidity, ignorance etc. are what many of his fans *like* about him, and he’s plenty charismatic for those folks. I don’t get it, but he is. Someone smoother might not appeal to the same crowd.

He's probably referring to the various House Resolutions that got killed in early voting over the last few years. They never got anywhere close to the point of impeachment, but remember who we're talking about and what he knows about the functioning of the government.
