Well regardless Biden, Sanders, Bloomberg, and Warren are all older then Trump so... unless Buttigeig or Klobuchar become a solid front runner this is all academic anyway.

Trump took office at 70. Voters don't care as much as we're thinking.
It is not the numerical age, as much as the "oldness" of the person.

Some people in their 70's are energetic, motivated, and "with it". Some (like Biden appears to be) are noticeably slowed down and "out of it".

Age is just a number, but old is old, and Biden is old.

Bernie is hard to get a feel on since... that dude was born an old Jewish Man near as I can tell. There's like ancient wood carvings of Sanders where he already looks old. There's not a color picture of him were he doesn't look retirement age. But he does have that weird old man energy. Animated I guess is the best way to put it.

Warren is very youthful looking for a 70 year old woman.

Biden... is Biden.

Also Sanders is 78, will be 79 by election day which means he's gonna be in his 80s for most of his possible Presidency. That is, I think for a lot of voters, pushing it.

We can imagine and spring and spry 70 year old. A spring and spry 80 year old is harder.

Dude would be starting his term 2 years after the end of his statistically average lifespan. That might be a factor for some.

It also might make VP choices mean more since... ya know.

It is <sniff> amazing just how <sniff> energetic Trump was <sniff> during the campaign <sniff> for his, uh <sniff> age.

Ha ha! He did seem to have a very strange cold at that time, and had a thirst that was difficult for him to quench given the weird way he drank water at the time. Obviously it was just nerves, or something getting to him. Or maybe too many Cokes at MacDonalds.

True. It remains to be seen what the voters make of that.

Of course, Biden is 77,and will be a few weeks short of 78 on election day, so we are really in the margin of error for the difference between Sanders and Biden. Yet you are on record as saying that he is the horse to back. Don't you think that most of your fears that voters have about age applies just as much, if not more, with Biden than Sanders given that Biden looks like he is losing his marbles?

Everything I said about Sanders applies to Biden as well, but after two solid drubbings he's less and less worth factoring into the discussion.

I "backed" Biden only so much in he was the statistical frontrunner for most of the time. It's nothing I need thrown back in my face.

Have you watched this?
Pretty amusing, and honestly, might make you like Sanders more.

IMHO Biden was done almost as soon as he run.

Admit it or not, "Pocahontas" is absolutely brilliant.

Tonight he called MayorCheat by a nickname for the first time: "Bootedgeedge". This foreigner doesn't get it.

Personally I thought "Fauxcahontas" was better. "Bootedgeedge" is roughly how Mayor Pete's name is pronounced, and his volunteers and supporters wear shirts and wave signs with that written on it (rather than Buttigieg).

What are you counting? Seconds? Fortnights? If the tweet doesn't come in the allotted time, can we question your assessment of Trump?

Elizabeth Warren, sometimes referred to as Pocahontas, is having a really bad night. I think she is sending signals that she wants out. Calling for unity is her way of getting there, going home, and having a “nice cold beer” with her husband!

Looks like it's time for theprestige to question his assessment of Trump. LOL!

Not by enough. She's damn near as old as me.

It'll be interesting to see how the R's go after Mayor Pete, as they're bound to be doing soon. Dance around the gay issue, or go all in on it?

There's no need, certainly not at this point. Again, people are acting like Buttigieg has a real path to victory when he doesn't. In the unlikely (538 estimate: 1 in 25 chance) event he does win enough delegates, the real attack will be pretty much the same one the Dems have been using--talk about Pete demoting the black police chief and firing the black fire chief.

You don't know this.

Of course I don't, but it seems like a better tactic than going after his sexuality. If Buttigieg is the nominee, everybody in the country is going to know he's gay (barring that one Iowa caucus-goer).

The obvious chink in Mayor Pete's armor is his lack of support among blacks. Unless he turns that around in the next six months, there's a real opportunity for the GOP. Just depress the black vote (or even get some blacks to crossover to Trump).

The chink will disappear. As much as African Americans might be wary of Mayor Pete at the moment, they are not going to abandon any Democratic Presidential candidate against Trump.

Re: Biden voters if he withdraws...
Curious where the "anti-malarkey" single issue voters are going to end up. I hear they won't break bread with "dog-faced pony soldiers".

A smart candidate trying to woo the Biden crowd should just spam Turner Classic Movies channel with ads.
Actually what they should do is higher the people who made Forest Gump to have themselves digitally inserted into episodes of Matlock.
