My guesses for the night:

Sanders: 30%
Buttigieg: 22%
Klobuchar: 16%
Warren: 12%
Biden: 10%
Yang: 5%
Others: 5%

Interesting almost Trumpian reasoning among some voters.

A New Hampshire resident told MSNBC journalist Ari Melber she decided to cast her primary vote for Bernie Sanders because she was tired of what she sees as constant criticism of the senator on the news channel.

The woman, who noted she watched MSNBC "constantly," also said she had grown weary of what she termed the "'stop Bernie' cynicism" from the news channel's commentators, which made her angry and compelled her to vote for him on primary day.

Melber, seeking clarification, asked the voter if she meant that she believed conversations on MSNBC were designed to denigrate Sanders, and that as a result of this she was even more "endeared" to him.

"Absolutely," answered the voter. "I could've chosen several candidates, but that's what pushed me over the edge for Bernie."

I'm sure she's not alone there.

The Language Awards. The longstanding forum pastime of recognizing a satisfying use of language.

"Klobuchar speak good," basically.

Thank you. Having worked in the computer industry for most of my life where engineers constantly talk in acronyms, "TLA" means three letter acronym.

If the 95% statistic is false, it's racism. If not, it's realism.

Nationally, the statistic is clearly false, but Bloomberg specifies "in every American city," where he might have something of a case. For New York City, only 4.9% of murder victims and about 3% of murder suspects/arrestees were white in 2019. I found a similar low rate for murder victims among whites in Chicago in 2019 (25/514=5%).

But realism or not, he's going to take it on the chin for this.

Thanks.

And yeah, it's a problem for him where he is now.

The problem is the supply of distressed people willing to do crime to survive far outstrips the demand for more arrests. Taking someone off a corner just leaves a void for someone else to stand on that corner.

We've known for decades that reducing the underlying distress is more effective at reducing crime than any "broken windows" strategy ever could. But still we have mayors who "go along to get along" with the sociopathic wing of their PDs.

Why do people think Bernie is the answer here? We've got a president whom 54 percent of voters think is a complete dick stain. Just run a Medicare if you need it, cheaper college (not free) and change the tax cut to benefit consumers Democrat and you win. Neither Bernie nor Warren have laid the ground work for their ideas. This is no time to be going in with revolutionary proposals. Warren is an idiot of she thinks this is the time for big ideas. Neither she nor Bernie have bothered to set the conditions for a debate between a socialist and a dictator. This is the election for someone who is sane, not planning to blow anything up and an idiot authoritarian nut job. Let's make it an easy choice.

I'm pretty much ready to dump Biden. It will be OK to see how he does in North Carolina. But since Democrats will show up to vote anyway, I think we would do better with the remaining set. Let the voters study the candidates and vote and forget Biden. We have plenty of center candidates and left. We did not need Biden for much anything.

The only regret I would have with Biden leaving is that Trump would gloat over it. And claim his conspiracies. It would have been much better never to have the Ukraine or Biden things at all. We would let Trump pursue "radical leftist" claims. People are not scared about getting healthcare. And we can sort it out. Bernie or Warren plan not likely to pass congress anyway.

Well, he's the front runner for one.

He must be doing something right.
