You said the National Guard would be "with us." Defining the National Guard does not clarify who you meant by "us." Which I thought would have been pretty obvious. So who's "us"?
All Americans who have guns under the Constitution, specifically the 2nd Amendment. Here is the oath the National Guard takes when sworn in:
"I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the State of (STATE NAME) against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the Governor of (STATE NAME) and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to law and regulations. So help me God."
That means they will not be obeying any order to go out and confiscate arms from citizens by President Quid Pro Joe Biden or anyone else. It would be illegal for them to do so. They will be on our side.
“We will always protect your Medicare and we will always protect your Social Security. Always.”
Maybe he'll lie and say the cuts will only impact illegal immigrants taking advantage of the system.
Re: Amazon suing over losing a pentagon contract...
Well, the supreme court ruled that Nixon had to turn over evidence during Watergate. If the courts follow precedents (which admittedly they may not do anymore) then there wouldn't be much he could do to prevent it.
And settling out of court could be damaging, since he'd be paying with taxpayer money.
And dragging it out may not work as well as it did with Mueller and/or the Impeachment inquiry because, well, Amazon probably has the resources to follow through with no time limit.
That might be even worse for him, since he would no longer have Barr and the DoJ working to protect him.
Not sure what punishment he might receive though.... if the courts do find Trump personally interfered in awarding a government contract over petty personal reasons, would he be liable for being sued personally? Or would it be Amazon going after the government?
On your side in some militia fever dream where you get to murder that patronising neighbour?

I see the CPAC has gone officially Fascist with its message to Romney. No criticism of Dear Leader allowed.
You do know who's paying for the wall, don't you? Redemption from illegal aliens. The redemption money is paying for the wall
Leopards, faces, eating, etc.More likely they'll be told that the cuts will only affect younger people who won't be collecting until years from now. "Screw them, I've got mine."
Sound like anyone we know? The basic traits of a toxic leader are generally considered to be either/or insular,[1] intemperate,[1][4] glib, operationally rigid, callous,[1] inept,[4] discriminatory,[1] corrupt[4] or aggressive[4] by scholars such as Barbara Kellerman. They boast that they are supposedly clever, always criticize other staff members and avoid or dislike to be asked awkward questions about their leadership style.[2] These may occur as either:
Oppositional behaviour.[2]
Plays corporate power politics.
An overcompetitive attitude to other employees.[2]
Perfectionistic attitudes.
Abuse of the disciplinary system (such as to remove a workplace rival).
A condescending/glib attitude.[1]
They are shallow and lack self-confidence. Toxic leaders are not confident with themselves and become aggressive to cope.[2]
Poor self-control and/or restraint.[4]
Physical and/or psychological bullying.[4]
Procedural inflexibility.[2]
Discriminatory attitudes (sexism, etc.).
Causes workplace division instead of harmony.[1]
Use "divide and rule" tactics on their employees.[4]
Arrogant[2]
Irritability[2]
Aggressive narcissism
This syndrome is also the 'Factor 1' in Robert D.Hare's Psychopathy Checklist, which includes the following traits:
Glibness/superficial charm[2]
Grandiose sense of self-worth
Pathological lying
Cunning/manipulative[2]
Lack of remorse or guilt[2]
Callous/lack of empathy[2]
Shallow emotional affect (genuine emotion is short-lived and egocentric)
Failure to accept responsibility for own actions
While researching (ok, "researching") an entirely separate subject, I got led down a Wikipedia rabbit hole to an article about toxic leadership.

The thing about Nixon was he couldn't help getting guilty and ashamed.Probably about the best tweet he's ever had because nothing about it is wrong. He's been able to shrug off pretty much everything thrown at him. As has been mentioned, his numbers are the as they were at the beginning, and whenever he's accused of something nothing much comes from it. He was impeached but what did that do? Not much.
Say what you will, he knows what he can get away with and that's pretty much anything.
At his rally tonight Trump says
What is redemption money?
But Trump believes it's perfection.Scratch “Perfectionistic attitudes“ though. Everything is slipshod and incompetent.
