Maybe the media should cover Trump's Rally's more.

They can send reporters to interview attendees like Jordan Klepper in the daily Show, in order to show how poor their knowledge is. Or intercut claims trump makes during his speech with contradictory things he said in other speeches.

Will be in Manchester, New Hampshire, tonight for a big Rally. Want to shake up the Dems a little bit - they have a really boring deal going on. Still waiting for the Iowa results, votes were fried. Big crowds in Manchester!

I wonder if POTUS upon being told that camera crews from around the world were heading to N.H., replied, “TV cameras?! I must get in front of them immediately.”

I suppose there are addictions more destructive than an attention addiction, but still.

Who is "us"?

From Wikipedia:

"All able bodied men, 17 to 45 of age, are ultimately eligible to be called up into military service and belong to the class known as the reserve militia, also known as the unorganized militia (10 USC). ... All female citizens who are members of National Guard units are also included in the reserve militia pool (10 U.S.C."

Of course, times have changed, and given women can shoot as good or better than men, I'm sure they will be welcomed if the time ever comes when the reserve militia is called to action, as will anyone else who is willing to fight or serve in any manner, because the situation will be such that the National Guard can't handle it.

He's being charged with 'aggravated assault on a person 65 years or older' and some other more minor things.
Seems to me that if you were trying to run over a group of 65-year-olds with your car, you'd probably be able to hit them. Either way, it's really, really not okay to put people in danger like this. Extremely stupid on his part and he will rightly have to face whatever punishment he gets.

Yes, Republicans are making a meal of it, just as any political party would. No doubt trump will reference this in his rallies along with the Steve Scalise incident from 2017 to continue demonising Democrats.

It wasn't that Trumpers were making a big deal of it. It's that Trump and others spoke as if this was one of many such attacks.

Kind of like the Bowling Green Massacre.


And of course it wasn't OK. But you don't see Democrats defending the guy. And there is no 'group' he's a part of that the Democrats are defending. There was no event like a march the guy was participating in.

I wondered about the possibility of a false flag attack. Get lots of news coverage but no one gets hurt. But I admit I base that partly on what the alleged attacker's *looks like* which is pretty motivated thinking on my part.

I saw a clip on the news of people gathering outside the rally. Of course, a lot of them were protestors waving anti-Trump signs.

It wasn't that Trumpers were making a big deal of it. It's that Trump and others spoke as if this was one of many such attacks.

Haven't there been lots of attacks on Trump supporters, or is the criterion more specific here?

So, some upcoming information regarding Trump's proposed budget. So what will it probably have?

As expected:
- Big cuts to non-military spending, including foreign aid, education, the CDC
- Increased spending for the military
- Another $2 billion for the border wall
- No plans to eliminate the deficit for at least a decade.
- Cuts to the 'social safety net', through things like tightened requirements

So much for the promises that the tax cuts would 'pay for themselves', and for Trump's 2016 promise to eliminate the deficit in 8 years. And not so sure how smart it is to cut CDC spending when the Corona virus seems to be causing so many issues.

House Democrats have already stated that the budget won't be going anywhere.
