Instead he is doing the opposite so he can cause another bubble/crash in the stock market.

Here's my future scenario:
• A Dem wins the 2020 presidential election
• Economic reality sets in and a nasty recession happens. To counter it, deficits soar.
• The GOP blames all of this on "tax and spend" Democrats. Endlessly.
• 2024 sees a GOP candidate win. Trump?

Just remember, you heard it first right here. :) :p

I'm so sick of this. I wish some reporter would ask a GOPer if they were trying to overturn Clinton's election. They would dioge the question.

They go with what they (think) they've got. No matter how stupid because a lot, if not all, Trump's base swallow it.

Trump asked Zelensky to do the investigation, probably because his people are more suited to the task because they live there and have the ability to speak and read Ukrainian, and Russian when necessary. Also, we have a treaty to cooperate in corruption investigations.

I am sure any agreement and/or contractual agreements are only in Ukrainian or Russian.

 <--- there aren't enough of these to express my sarcasm

It is not normal (and in this case illegal) for the investigation to be initiated by the 2 heads-of-state engaging in a conversation.

... and pushed very hard by a person who has NO governmental role and is only the President's personal lawyer, not a lawyer for the president.

I accepted your nice suggestion and did a search on '"sir drinks-a-lot" +economic +predictions' and got ZERO results.

Well, by golly, you're right. You've made no bad economic predictions. The fact that you've made none is beside the point, right?
I wouldn't put too much faith in this site's search function. IMO it's a bit creaky.

Not mentioned: Bolton was never seriously considered for any position in the Trump admin that required senate confirmation because the GOP controlled senate would never confirm him.

This whole thing is about Trump wanting Ukraine to investigate the Bidens corruption, probably based on the tape of Joe Biden bragging about telling Ukraine they weren't going to get over a billion dollars in loan guarantees unless they fired the Prosecutor General of Ukraine who was investigating Burisma, where Hunter Biden was making a whole bunch of money sitting on their board.

Congratulations. You've been suckered by actual fake news - fake news that actually was specifically put there by a guy in on the conspiracy to extort Ukraine to create a pointedly false narrative that the Trump Administration could use as an excuse.

Err...
The argument against Bolton is that the President picked a terrible candidate as National Security Advisor?

All of that sounds entirely possible to me, just one thing to note: The answer to your last question is Yes, but I would expect it to be Don Jr or Ivanka.

Don Jr. and Ivanka do horribly at public speaking/interviews. They come across as either blithering idiots or smug ***holes (or both). I don't think they're serious contenders.

I really don't think that's a problem for Trump supporters.

I had to laugh when I read Schwartz's tweet. Bolton was so bad that the GOP controlled Senate would never confirm him, but Trump thought he would make a great National Security Advisor. Gotta love that kind of logic.
Trump is so stupid that he retweets someone who is also too stupid to realize what that tweet is actually saying.
