I don’t know how much is true but the story is a 92 year old lady was murdered by an unlawfully present Guyanese national who had recently been released from custody even though ICE issued a detainer.

You can buy cheap iPhones in China today that have actually "fallen off the back of the conveyor belt at Apple" so they say. They work just like the real thing because they are the real thing. Or are they...

And you can buy cheap knock-offs that most owners can't tell the difference that use the the same chip designs...or do they... ;)

Since all manufacturing in China is at least overseen by the state, you have to at least be suspicious.

I spent a decade as an IT broker selling high end communications and computer equipment. I use to sell a lot of Cisco equipment. About 60 percent of it was used. But 40 percent was New In Box or NIB. Every single day, I would get emails, texts and calls from China of people selling NIB Cisco as well as other tech equipment at discounts that were unbelievable.

It was well known that the government was in on it. Every so often the government would crack down and raid a few of these people to show the West they were serious. But it never slowed the traffic. In fact, I remember getting calls from some of those supposedly arrested days after their arrest. One just laughed about his arrest saying it was just a show and could I buy 10 new single mode GBICs.

ETA: But he is constitutionally incapable of not making any situation all about him. It's a sickness.

You don’t understand that for a lot of folks “they will take your guns” is way scarier than “they will eat your children.”

Tillerson apparently challenged Trump a bit on Trump's desire to make the US military a mercenary force after a bit. Then...

There was silence in the Tank. Several military officers in the room were grateful to the secretary of state for defending them when no one else would. The meeting soon ended and Trump walked out, saying goodbye to a group of servicemen lining the corridor as he made his way to his motorcade waiting outside. Mattis, Tillerson, and Cohn were deflated. Standing in the hall with a small cluster of people he trusted, Tillerson finally let down his guard.

“He’s a ********** moron,” the secretary of state said of the president.

That's... not exactly what I would call supporting our military. Exactly the opposite, really.
 
All President Trump is trying to do is to align children's diet with his own and as he's the winningest winner who's smarter than everyone and who has the Greatest Memory Of All Time, he's just trying to do them a solid :rolleyes:
