Oh sure you're not claiming it. You just keep bringing it up over and over again...

Someone else who keeps bringing it up again and again is none other than Donald J. Trump. Only he IS claiming it. ;)

“FBI Director apologizes for FISA Errors (of which there were far to [sic] many to be a coincidence!).”

PBS has had a special on McCarthy this week. The parallels to Trump are eerie.

McCarthy was originally a registered Democrat but moved to the GOP to take advantage of a more favorable climate. There were never any actual political 'ideals' that he held.

He took the seeds of fear and grew them into a crowd rallying around him to save them from the commie threat. They cheered him on and he ate it up.

He lied about the threat, claiming there were hundreds of commies in the government working for the Soviets. When asked for evidence he simply moved on to new lies: drowning the fish just like Trump does.

He constantly sought headlines and attention and told lie after lie to achieve it. The crowds cheered more.

When the people grew weary and he ran out of people to persecute for being communists, he shifted to demonizing homosexuals. McCarthy and his supporters claimed homosexuality put them at risk of being blackmailed by the communists. Despite the fact there was not a single case of this occurring, they went on anyway persecuting gays for their supposed risk of being blackmailed.

Constant vying for the spotlight, urging on a crowd of followers, lying constantly and lying more when challenged, convincing people they were threatened, persecuting a group to gain adulation and power through fear-mongering ...

Sound familiar?

The powerful Trump Wall is replacing porous, useless and ineffective barriers in the high traffic areas requested by Border Patrol. Illegal crossing are dropping as more and more Wall is being completed! #BuildingTheWall

To the brave, long-suffering people of Iran: I've stood with you since the beginning of my Presidency, and my Administration will continue to stand with you. We are following your protests closely, and are inspired by your courage.

For an instant there I thought he'd finally had the stroke I've been predictly hourly since he turned 89 and passed the 420 pound weight mark.

No. You brought it up. In response to Zaganza and then my post. And you have brought it up many, many, many times

Nope. This is my first post in this subthread about bias:
http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=12949819#post12949819

It is not in response to TGZ or to you, but to the post immediately before it by newyorkguy:
http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=12949801#post12949801

My first response to TGZ wasn't about bias, but about his claim that the FBI errors wouldn't have changed anything.

....which is merely a perpetuation of your habit of pointing out that no evidence of bias does not imply no bias. For example:

You are correct. And that's also part of why ChristianProgressive is wrong: the IG not finding bias doesn't mean that there wasn't bias, since finding bias wasn't the purpose of the investigation.

For someone who has absolutely no evidence of bias (and who claims to not believe there was no bias (Ha!)) you sure do like to pontificate on it quite a bit.

Guess if you can't get any of those promised jobs for coal miners this is the next best thing.

Wait.
Shouldn’t the invisible hand of the free market be taking care of this?
I thought pure capitalism could solve every problem.

Here's a fun "How Cynical Am I?" test that I just invented. Assume Trump loses re-election and Ginsburg dies after Thanksgiving. Do you 1) Believe Trump would nominate a replacement? 2) Believe McConnell would schedule hearings?

I see your cynicism and I raise you.
No, Sen. MConnell would not schedule a SCOTUS appointment hearing because the Senate would be too busy investigating the voter fraud that prevented Pres. DJT from being rightfully and fairly re-elected.

Why would you two be so cynical? It's not like the President's lawyer didn't just demand that the Supreme Court rule that Impeachment is unconstitutional. Oh, that's right. Rudy just did.

I did a poll on this not that long ago. Only on planet x does Trump not nominate and the senate confirm.
