I saw a story about the cancer rates on the CNN website yesterday or the day before, and was thinking about facetiously posting here, wondering when he would claim credit. I decided not to, because it was too ridiculous.

I read the tweet several times and I still couldn't put together If I misunderstood it, if I was more ignorant about investing that I suspected, or if the President of the United States really is an oafish buffoon. After three years, I don't know why that still catches me off guard.

I was more taken aback by the claim that growth of 50% is lamentable and a sign you're doing it wrong.

Well, since it seems Trump is in favor of removing safeguards for investors, and unlearning all that was learned in the last crash, it stands to reason that he'd favor huge bubble growth over safer, more modest gains. Go for the gold. What could possibly go wrong?

Of course there are terrorists who fund others to become 'martyrs' and they certainly enable terrorism. I don't think anyone here has said or implied there aren't. I doubt this assassination of Soleimani has deterred any of these people but it's certainly enraged Iranians.

This, If there was solid proof that Soleimani had plotted and/or was responsible for attacks directly on Americans, I would have had a lot less problem with taking him out. But we have seen no such proof.
Yes, the guy was a bad actor...what the hell was a high ranking Iranian Military official doing in Iraq anyway....but IMHO his killing was not justified when you think about the negative problems it has called.
