The Trump Presidency: Part 18

It should be part of the Navy. Star Trek uses naval ranks and terminology, not army. BSG tried to use army terminology, then threw some navy in there as well, then just made up crap and tried to excuse it by being aliens, but then they were angels, and also ancestors of humans, except they had to do it with first robots and then the half-robot generation did it with neanderthals? BSG is not the example to use for our noble and dignified spacy, is what I'm saying. Ships are naval, even if they're spaceships.

In WW1 Tank development was the responsibility of the navy. That's why all the parts are named for ships parts. Deck, hull, hatch, bow fighting compartment etc.

For Democrats, turn out in 2020 will be decisive. Trump has a number of second term issues going for him (except that almost nobody wants a tweet out of him in 2021 and later), listed here. But is this one item correct? I can't tell from myself as I fell into a low income low tax bracket with retirement.
Moreover, Trump signed into law the Tax Cut and Jobs Act two years ago. Though Democrats derided it as a sop to the wealthy, a study showed that an average family of four earning the median annual income of $73,000 received a cut in federal income taxes of more than $2,000. To the coastal elites who populate the modern Democratic Party, that may not be much more than their annual coffee bill, but to average families in the heartland, that is almost a 60 percent drop in their annual federal income tax bills.

We will always provide for our Veterans and their mental health. I pushed Congress to provide $10 Billion for Vet mental health, suicide prevention outreach, and funding for my PREVENTS Initiative to end Vet suicide. Congress responded. A big win for our Vets!

Last year I signed legislation that gives our Veterans CHOICE, through private providers, and at urgent care facilities! Today we fully funded this $10 billion a year effort that gets our brave Veterans care quickly, and close to home.

Honored to finally put an end to the “Widow’s Tax” and ensure that our surviving military spouses receive their full benefits. The spouses and families of our fallen heroes have suffered enough and WE must do everything in our power to ease the burden.

My Administration pushed to include a big expansion to Veteran telehealth in the spending bill so that the brave men and women who served our Country get the care they need. #RuralProsperity

2020 isn't as important as 2022: if Dems take the WH in 2020 but not the Senate, they probably won't get it in 2022 either. But the House might flip to the GOP in such a case.
But if Trump gets to stay in 2020, the Congress will go completely Blue in 2022, at which point Trump might be Impeached or kept as a pet.

BIG thank you to Mac Thornberry (@MacTXPress) for a GREAT Defense Deal! Mac has been a champion for our Military and Vets his whole career, and now he can add Space Force to his accomplishments. Look forward to another great defense bill next year, Mac! @HASCRepublicans

Last night I was so proud to have signed the largest Defense Bill ever. The very vital Space Force was created. New planes, ships, missiles, rockets and equipment of every kind, and all made right here in the USA. Additionally, we got Border Wall (being built) funding. Nice!

Plus, never did anything wrong. Read the Transcripts. A Democrat Hoax!

According to @Harvard law professor Noah Feldman (a Dem witness in the Judiciary hearing), President Trump is not “impeached” until the articles are sent to the Senate. If Pelosi holds onto them indefinitely, @realDonaldTrump would not be “impeached”.

I am counting on Democrats impeaching Trump every year. I think we can squeeze in another one in 2020, after Trump calls Putin and gives him Ukraine.

NPR cited a number or 300 dollars saved, but I can't find it anymore.

But now that we can freely burn dirty coal (it has mercury) and not worry about emissions, let alone carbon, you can save a few bucks a month!

Electricity savings for customers have varied widely from company to company. For most customers, the initial savings on energy bills last year were about 3 or 4 percent on average, according to Americans for Tax Reform, a conservative anti-tax group run by Grover Norquist which boasts of the lower rates it says resulted from the tax law.

$1000 bucks more is about what it was for me. The thing is my tax return was about the same as it has been. It was just the withholding from the check that was lower. By about $50 every two weeks. So since it is more distributive over time it may not be as readily noticeable or stand out as much over time as you quickly get used to it. $25 a week is basically my lunch money or my booze money, take your pick (of days on or days off).

Hey, if you stop eating lunch, you'll have more money for booze!

If you like your lightbulbs, you can keep your lightbulbs! The Obama Admin tried to limit Americans to buying more-expensive LED bulbs for their homes—but thanks to President @realDonaldTrump, go ahead and decorate your house with whatever lights you want.

Do Lead paint next!

To put the record straight, the law on new efficiency requirements was passed in 2007 during President George W. Bush’s administration.
