Why? I thought we needed to experience doing bad things as determined by the Angels of Karma? It's part of the evolutionary process right as you've described right?
What is good for us, according to them, may not be something we perceive as pleasant or advisable. If I'm supposed to live in poverty as punishment for being a bad person in a prior life, and the angels tell me to make a bad investment and thereby lose my house, and I don't and act against their wishes, then where does that put me morally? These angels are more like trickster spirits. If I act judiciously and wisely, that may be the "wrong" thing to do. And since I can't remember the crap I'm supposedly being punished for, how does following a spirit's detrimental advice against my better judgment make me a better person in the long run?
