Paul Krugman of @nytimes has been wrong about me from the very beginning. Anyone who has followed his “words of wisdom” has lost a great deal of money. Paul, just concede the game, say I was right, and lets start a brand new game!

@SteveScalise blew the nasty & obnoxious Chris Wallace (will never be his father, Mike!) away on Chris’s lowest rated (unless I’m on) morning show. This kind of dumb and unfair interview would never have happened in the @FoxNews past. Great job Steve!

Schiff is a Corrupt Politician!

Just kinda sad to watch a son plead for attention like that. And a retweet is probably the most love he can expect.

I almost feel sorry for him. He is an idiot, but a life as one of Trumps offspring must be hell. As hard as he tries, he will never come close to his sisters favoritism. And he knows it.

Deserves jail for what?

I think he's abysmal and should be removed. I don't know that he's broken any laws. The terrible bending of the Justice Dept. to act as the president's attorney is worthy of removal but not a violation of law as far as I can tell.

But perhaps I'm overlooking either some act or some law.

The lies to Congress serves as an easy example of something to send him to jail for. That's before getting to any involvement of his in aiding and abetting crime by Trump - involvement that sure looks to be quite significant. It's also worth remembering that Nixon's AG went to jail for his involvement in crime by Nixon.

The subpeona bit does make for an additional count, but yes, I wasn't specifically referring to that. Alone, at least. That's just part of a much larger pattern, after all.

What a firm and unwavering defense of American citizens. North Korea says Biden deserves to die and Trump, in a rare statement of bipartisan support, says he's somewhat better than that.

Reminds me of his devastating criticism of Republicans planning to make their first priority be removing anti-corruption measures from Congress. "Don't make it the first thing you do. That's a bad idea." in essence.

Not trying to be a pain, but which lies to Congress? The bit where he denied knowing whether or not Mueller supported his summary of the report? I'd call that a lie. Did you have anything else in mind?

He sure seemed like he was lying when asked if the President or anyone in the White House had ever asked him to open an investigation into someone.

Our great Farmers will recieve another major round of “cash,” compliments of China Tariffs, prior to Thanksgiving. The smaller farms and farmers will be big beneficiaries. In the meantime, and as you may have noticed, China is starting to buy big again. Japan deal DONE. Enjoy!
That makes absolutely no sense to me at all. The "cash" reference is also odd. It's the cash you get that isn't really cash. Like what Trump pays his debts with.

I wasn't meaning normal people, I was meaning in Congress.

Until Clinton there really wasn't this extreme partisanship that we see today. Under Clinton the Republicans started to push towards more Partisanship, mostly I think because they were unable to get over having lost after the big wins by Reagan and Bush, and so to have Bush lose after just a single term was a trigger. However even under Clinton, and the Bush #2 there was the ability to work across the isle on most things, to reach a compromise and an understand that it was better to find a middle ground with some give and take than to grind Government to a halt (though that did start to happen more under Clinton.) However despite the beginnings under Clinton, it when stratospheric under Obama when that Republicans declared that they were going to oppose anything that he tried to do. At that point even the veil of bi-partisanship went out the window, and now the Republicans have entrenched themselves into a position where they have no choice but to disagree with anything the Democrats do, even when they are being given the exact thing that they were demanding just a week before.

ETA: I mean, to show the levels of absurdness from the Republicans, under Obama a bill was sponsored to the floor by two Republicans, but when Obama stated in a speech that he supported the Bill, the entire Republican caucus voted it down, including the two members that had sponsored and written it in the first place!

and here's an interesting article on it all...
I totally agree. I think it really did start with the attacks on Bill Clinton. But the 12 years before that when they were happy with Reagan and Bush, things were building starting with Reagan's Young Republicans.

Could explain some of the hatred and backlash over Obama, who was quite moderate.

Here we go, open your mouth for some spoon feeding:

House Should Prepare Criminal Referral of A.G. Barr for Lying to Congress
Based on the available public record about the Russia investigation, it’s clear that the Attorney General has repeatedly deceived Congress in a manner that appears to have crossed the line established by federal criminal law. It’s a federal offence if anyone intentionally “falsifies, conceals, or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact” or makes a “materially false” statement before Congress. The cautious Speaker of the House, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, accused Barr of committing a crime when questions first arose two months ago about the truthfulness of his testimony concerning the Mueller report. Even more evidence of Barr’s misconduct has emerged since then.

After Mueller testifies, the House should consider transmitting Barr’s multiple testimonies to the Justice Department, and since Barr cannot investigate himself, call for a special counsel to do so.
