• Almost 8-percent of total DACA requestors (59,786 individuals) had arrest records as of the date the systems were queried, which included offenses such as assault and battery, rape, murder, and drunk driving, among others. “Requestors” includes individuals approved and denied DACA.
• Almost 8-percent of total DACA requestors (59,786 individuals) had arrest records as of the date the systems were queried, which included offenses such as assault and battery, rape, murder, and drunk driving, among others. “Requestors” includes individuals approved and denied DACA.
• Of those individuals whose DACA requests were approved and had one or more arrests or apprehensions, 53,792 were arrested or apprehended prior to their most recent approval.
• Approximately 13-percent (7,814) of approved DACA requestors with an arrest had an arrest after their grant was approved and prior to renewal.
• 54.8-percent of DACA requestors with more than one arrest (17,079) most recently had a DACA case status of “approved” as of the date the systems were queried.
• 199 individuals who requested DACA had 10 or more arrests. Of those, 51 most recently had DACA case status of “approved,” as of the date the systems were queried.
• Of the total 888,765 DACA requestors, 797,297 had no arrests or apprehensions, and 710, 842 were approved.

Completely disagree. If Dump's not on the ballot, his rabid supporters, such as those who go to his rallies, won't give a damn who is running in his place. GOP turnout would drop like a rock. For example, if Dump dies then Pence would likely be his replacement. Who gives a **** about Pence?

Pence is implicated. He was involved.

But Pelosi cannot impeach Pence because the GOP would never go for outing them both putting Pelosi in power. So Pence will stay and almost certainly pardon Trump, at least on federal crimes.

But back to your post, no one can mimic Trump's con job. His supporters will dissipate.

But back to your post, no one can mimic Trump's con job. His supporters will dissipate.

But if things look bleak for President Trump and he has already implicated VP Pence, POTUS could demand VPOTUS’s resignation and apoint someone else as Vice president. In fact, if you want to get all quid-pro-quo-y, POTUS could appoint a VP with the understanding that if Trump gets impeached and the new VP becomes POTUS, then he will appoint Trump as VP. And to make matters worse, the new president could then resign and Trump would be president again.

Fine print. The vote to remove a president from office and the vote to prevent him from holding high office are two distinct votes.
Finer print: but the second vote only requires a simple majority, so it is pretty likely he would be barred, and the above scenario is exceptionally unlikely.

I saw an article headline stating that Democrats are now shifting to using the words "bribery" and "extortion" instead of "quid pro quo". Good. Make it something the lay people can understand.

Or else it's because with the hearings coming up, they just want something easier to say?

Well, first, yes, it looks like Schiff's said that bribery/soliciting bribes is likely on the menu, as it definitely should be.

Second, it's likely worth remembering that the ONLY reason why quid pro quo is being used so much is because Trump threw it out there as an attempted to divert attention from the simple fact that even asking Ukraine to interfere in our elections like that is totally illegal, especially with the basis that Trump actually had. It doesn't matter what Ukraine did or didn't do, nor what they knew or didn't know. Trump was clearly guilty, so he threw up the quid pro quo bone, which way too many grabbed onto. Even then, of course, criminal quid pro quo was brazen and obvious and the defenses of the Republicans keep throwing up to try to even mitigate the damage keep getting swatted down. Too bad that much of that's not going to actually reach waay too much of Trump base, who didn't even know that the Mueller report had anything negative to say about Trump and another chunk is like, well...

Interesting to note from Gallup that, as I expected, Donald Trump's approval rating has crept back up to his default 41%/42% after a slight dip.

Unlike any previous President of either party, it seems that his approval rating is absolutely armour plated at its default level, regardless of current events. It's also significantly higher than it was 2 years ago.

It seems that the impeachment process has had almost exactly no effect on his approval rating. Perhaps it's because anyone who has any interest in the process is already absolutely opposed to him and anyone who supports him gets their news from sources which wouldn't provide critical coverage.

IMO it's rather depressing and leads me to think that there's a high likelihood of him being reelected.

When she started this 2 1/2 years ago, her goal was 500,000 jobs, she’s now created 14 million jobs, and they’re being trained by these great companies, the greatest companies in the world, because the government can’t train them.

The linked article seems to indicate that the 14 million number is the number of training spots for which Ivanka has received commitments so:
