It’s also not exactly a bin Laden killing moment. ISIS is designed so that it can easily handle having a leader killed. Al Queda was not.
 
I'll hold back for the moment on the veracity of this tweet, but there's a claim that Trump wasn't in the Situation Room when the raid took place, he was golfing, and the situation room photo where he is allegedly watching the raid in real time was staged about an hour and a half after the mission.

Trump announced that he would be holding a national announcement on Sunday at 9 a.m., but it didn’t take long for Twitter users to connect the dots and assume that Trump would be bragging about the leader’s death. Many flashed back to a 2012 tweet from Trump after then-President Barack Obama brought up in a presidential debate that his administration had taken out Osama bin Laden, with Trump saying that Obama doesn’t get to take credit for it.

“Stop congratulating Obama for killing Bin Laden,” Trump wrote. “The Navy Seals killed Bin Laden.”

If you scroll down, someone added the press pool log that indicated that Trump was at Trump National Golf Club when the raid took place.

I'm going to guess they are going to say Obama needed to be in the situation room after to direct the follow up and congratulate the soldiers.

I haven't watched the press conference, but did trump really state that he'd kept the Democratic leadership out of the loop, since they couldn't be trusted to keep it a secret? If so, wow...

it doesn't mean the photo was staged does it. As in it couldn't have been taken during the raid?

He definitely would have had to comb his hair and dress up though.

Here's something interesting. There is a military guy sitting two to the right of Trump (as we look at him) in a green uniform and his expression is kind of "WTF are we doing here".

If you look at the photo of Nancy Pelosi bollocking Trump for the Kurds, the same guy is sitting on Trump's right and he is hanging his head in shame. This man is not a Trumpista.
