I heard an assertion that they also took photos of documents in an effort to find the name of the whistleblower.
Also making a phone call from the SCIF. The guy even says "I calling from the SCIF" in the call.

Does anyone else here think that Microsoft was awarded the
$10 billion Pentagon cloud contract over favorite Amazon due to Trump's personal hatred of Mark Bezos?
Haven't heard about that so I don't know. But I'm continually surprised that Blue Origin still has NASA contracts.
ETA: That would be Jeff Bezos, of course, not Mark.
Except we paid for the helicopter ride. We paid overtime to the Secret Service. The US Navy Stewards who cook at Camp David get paid out of taxpayer funds.

According to Snodgrass' book, Trump called Mattis during summer 2018 and directed him to "screw Amazon" out of the opportunity to bid on the contract.
Task & Purpose obtained an advanced copy of the book. CNN has not yet seen the book.
From James Mattis' biography.

From the article:
"Relaying the story to us during Small Group, Mattis said, 'We're not going to do that. This will be done by the book, both legally and ethically,'" Snodgrass wrote according to Task & Purpose.
Shameful. Mattis ignored a direct order from his commander-in-chief. He's the most overrated general in world history.

John Kelly warned President Trump not to hire a “yes man” as his replacement as White House chief of staff.
And the ex-Marine explained to his boss why.
“Don’t hire someone that will just nod and say, ‘That’s a great idea, Mr. President,’" Kelly told Trump in his exit interview. he recalled Saturday at a conference, according to the Washington Examiner. "Because you will be impeached.”
...
White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham responded by ripping Kelly.
"(John Kelly) was totally unequipped to handle the genius of our great president,” Grisham said.

By extension perhaps we can conclude that the order was illegal? From the article:

No wonder she got the job.Somehow each press secretary gets worse and worse. When will they stop treating them seriously?
Linky.
I hope they are paying Stephanie a great deal, because she'll be unemployable after 2020. Oh wait, there'll still be Fox and Breitbart. Never mind, she's setting herself up for a secure future.
