I have to say the Anti Trump Demonstrators in Minneapolis last night did not help the cause much. Throwing Urine in the streets and waving "Marx was right" signs is incredibly stupid and will give Donnie and the deplorables pleny of ammunition.
 
I don't post all his retweets, , usually only the ones he adds comments to himself. otherwise just the juicy ones.

As far as I can tell the U.S. Senate hasn't ratified the deal either. Don't know if it's up to the House to go first. Anyway, it doesn't seem terribly controversial, probably the House should take it up, maybe with a little horse trading regarding House bills that are being ignored by the Senate. Not a grand bargain or anything, just a bit of bipartisanship on both sides. Bipartisan ship is not completely dead; Lindsey Graham was touting it earlier this week viz a viz Turkey sanctions.

Even the fairly innocuous ones, though, give hints as to who has his ear and to how he is trying to quell criticism - some of it from the right. For example, bragging about rendition of 2 ISIS people, bad hombres, means that someone might have been on his case re the 11,000 ISIS prisoners he decided to leave in the custody of a stateless militia we just abandoned.

Interesting that Trump now says we have no troops in the area - yet per CNN Turkish artillery shells struck a couple of hundred yards away from a U.S. Special Forces position. It's never been quite clear where the pulled forces were supposed to go - they did not leave Syria. Does that mean we have some agreement with Assad to station troops there? I can see why this arrangement would be tolerated but it says something about the limited alliances adversaries will enter into for the sake of convenience. In 2018 there were 54,000 U.S. troops deployed in the Middle East.

I read a Minneapolis newspaper report that did not mention those - but did say MAGA hats and U.S. flags were being burned - I'm fine with the MAGA hats, the flags not so much. Though of course they have a right to do it (if obeying laws about open flames) it's not good visuals IMO. And "Marx was right" just seems like unfocused messaging. Not too sure what Marx has to do with today's hot-button issues. Wealth inequality is a more complicated issue than can easily fit in a slogan.

We need to pass the #USMCA, secure our southern border, combat drug smuggling and related crimes in our communities, and address prescription drugs costs.

I'm still glad Swoop posts them though. Trump's the guy who will never shut up and what he says is either self centered, a lie or it's awful.

Sounds a lot like fake protestors. Not that some left wingers aren't ignorant, there have often been a few attaching themselves to our protest marches to make it seem like the people in the march support extreme causes like 'Marx was right'.

It's a dilemma for protest and march organizers.

I saw a photo at MSN of one of the "Marx Was Right" fools.
Yes, they have a right to do it but it's a stupid thing to do, like burning the flag.
Instant turn off to many viewers.
Problem with the a lot of left wing demonstrators is they are too concerned with looking "cool" to their bros and don't get the purpose of a demonstration is too convince the general public to support you.

Just admit that your side has it's share of morons and distance yourself from them.
