And can I just point out how screwed up you have to be if I'm the voice of reason on the topic of being anti Trump?
UH,no. Everything he did to become a dictator was perfectly legally under the constitution of the Weimar Republic, which was, obviously, a badly flawed document.
The enabling act was perfectly legal.
Wikipedia said:The law was enacted by the Reichstag (meeting at the Kroll Opera House), where non-Nazi members were surrounded and threatened by members of the SA and the SS. The Communists had already been repressed and were not allowed to be present or to vote, and some Social Democrats were kept away as well. In the end most of those present voted for the act, except for the Social Democrats, who voted against it.[5]
That’s bad enough, but completely abdicating custody of 11,000 ISIS prisoners - then suggesting they will escape and go to Europe - that is petulance to an insane degree. Literally insane.Every single Kurd killed by the Turks will be directly attributable to Donald J Trump and his gutless enablers in the Republican Party.
I noticed that! You’ve gone right to the heart of the matter. I do hope that you’re partially wrong about Trump supporters and that some of the 40-45 percent will turn out to be redeemable once there’s a little blood in the water. And can I just point out how screwed up you have to be if I'm the voice of reason on the topic of being anti Trump?
Donny's comments about the Kurds merely show his true colours again: He doesn't give a flying **** if some brown Muslims kill other brown Muslims in some place he's never heard of.
Oh, and his comments about the Kurds not helping at Normandy? Neither did the Australians or New Zealanders, even though we contributed significantly to the whole WW2 effort elsewhere. So are we also disposable in Donny's eyes? I think our PM needs to get his arse back in gear and remind Donny of what the word "ally" actually means. Not that it would do any good. Donny is a complete demented ignoramus, his mind is cracked and is leaking its rotten core now, and the sooner he is disposed of the better the whole world will be. Roll on impeachment, dismissal, conviction and imprisonment.
As disheartening as the rest of this FB post is, at the end the poster says Trump is “undeniably unfit.” Is this some tidbit that is supposed to throw Dems off the impeachment track, or is it a sincere sentiment? Because if it’s sincere, it’s a pretty big concession to make.
Fake meme? If so it’s kind of brilliant.
It doesn’t even take a spine IMO. Covering for him is going to be a liability before too long. That could be wishful thinking. But I think the odds are pretty good things will tip that way.
I doubt if Turks killing Kurds will do it but you never know.

It might cut into his support within the military. I'm pretty sure a hell of a lot of those guys know that the Kurds have been the only faction the US could actually trust in the area, and I expect they'll be put out by abandoning them.
Heck, Canada DID "help out" at Normandy, and we're still apparently a threat to his national security. It doesn't matter what the reality is, he'll find an excuse to do whatever he wants.
Trump Tweets
.... Vote Republican, the Party of Honest Abe Lincoln!....
Let's assume that Trump is not removed by the ballot box. What then is the justification for armed rebellion against a president elected as described in the Constitution. I'm not asking about him staying in power after losing the election or some maneuver to suspend or nullify the election.
That latest tweet about Biden is surely libellous.

He didn't vote for Trump, but did a write-in (Condoleezza Rice). He's told me he might vote Trump the next time around just to give Liberals the finger.
2/3 of both houses is a heavy lift. And 2/3 of the state assemblies is an even heavier lift, especially in a world where Trump wins the electoral college. Doesn't sound feasible.I assume that even if Dump wins the Electoral College vote, he will have lost the popular vote by more than in 2016. If that is the case, then I suspect the the National Popular Vote movement will succeed.
dudalb, if that scenario comes to pass, putting one's energy in permanently sidelining the Electoral College in a perfectly legal way without having to get a constitutional amendment passes is where everyone's energy should go.
Perhaps not all, but all the violence done on behalf of the state, by definition, was legal. And when the state looks the other way when the non-state actors committed violence, I think it's arguably legal too.The violence that lead up to the vote certainly was not legal.
Isn't that a typical feature of Alzheimers and related brain problems? Trump's memories of childhood are much clearer than more recent occurrences.Ya gotta be pretty desperate to have to go back 150 years to find a model member of your party. And, btw, Reagan seems to have disappeared from the ranks of Saints of the GOP.
