There are no felonies, there are no Impeachable offenses. The Constitution’s very clear that you need bribery, treason, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. You can’t be impeached for the conduct that’s been alleged in this case.”
@AlanDersh Dershowitz. @seanhannity
A Scam!

If the standard is high crimes or misdemeanors then why is it important to say there are no felonies?

Trump said he consulted everybody before making the decision. Which of course means he consulted nobody.

It means he consulted himself because he has a good brain and has said many things.

At this stage trump has pretty much purged the administration of people who would really disagree with him on anything. They might raise points about what the likely reaction will be among R's and D's and the fake news, but it doesn't appear that there's anyone left who would in any way force fully advise against whatever trump is mulling, particularly if it looks like he's made up his mind.

I think that Crooked Hillary Clinton should enter the race to try and steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren. Only one condition. The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors including how & why she deleted 33,000 Emails AFTER getting “C” Subpoena!

Trump is playing one-dimensional chess.

No, I'm sure he only meant that he had previously consulted with them, which of course would be before he made the decision, but he didn't pay any attention because what do they know.

And in other news:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...legal-bill-after-losing-windfarm-court-battle
Donald Trump’s family firm is refusing to accept a legal bill worth tens of thousands of pounds after he lost a lengthy court battle against a windfarm near his Aberdeenshire golf course..

I am shocked, shocked I tell you! No, wait, no I'm not.

How could Trump have lost such a case? Hmm.... I wonder.

From the article:

He took his battle to the Scottish parliament, claiming the country’s heavy investment in onshore windfarms would ruin its tourism industry. In one famous exchange with MSPs, Trump insisted the committee did not need to call any witnesses to verify his claims. “I am the evidence,” he said. “I’m an expert in tourism. I have won many, many awards … if you dot your landscape with these horrible, horrible structures, you will do tremendous damage.”

I’ve frequently heard people say that any story President Trump tells that includes someone calling him sir is almost certainly a lie. I never put much faith in that theory. I am now rethinking my position.

The problem is that any story he tells is almost certainly a lie to begin with. I'm not sure the 'sir' modifier is required.

If we can isolate him this could work to our advantage.

In much the same way getting 100% wrong on a T/F quiz would require you to know as much as someone who gets 100% correct, if we can just start doing the exact opposite of everything Trump says this country should, theoretically, be run at 100% maximum efficiency.

I’m still majorly confused about the extent of U.S. involvement in Syria. Last year he supposedly announced he was pulling 2,000 troops. He’s now doing what? Moving 50-100 troops away from the border area. How much of an impact can that even have? And were those 2,000 troops brought home?

I don’t know what good a few dozen U.S. troops does in the region.
Yet Pat Robertson and prominent senators see this as a disaster.

This just isn’t adding up to me.

It encumbers a number of strategic options with the possibility that one dead American soldier means we come charging back in with 8 divisions.

I live in Aberdeen. I can see the wind farm when I walk on our beach or the promenade. Actually it is quite beautiful and peaceful watching the blades move. Of course I probably have cancer now and our seagull population has gone from 200,000 to 199,999.
