Removal through impeachment, indictment, voted out, he goes to prison... regardless of how he leaves office Trump is not going retire to a life of quiet solitude.

Trumps not ever going to do the "Quiet life outside of the public eye, maybe write a book, do the occasional speaking tour, show up in public in an official capacity once in a blue moon" kind of thing.

For all our "bad" Presidents (however you wish to put into that category) we as a country generally have pretty good "ex-Presidents" who generally don't bash the sitting President or inject themselves too hard into politics.

I don't see Trump maintaining that trend.

In the past, it's usually been Trump and other Republicans using music at rallies without permission. I still remember the Dropkick Murphys telling Scott Walker "Please stop using our music in any way...we literally hate you !!!" I found an article from last year about the various songs that Trump had been asked not to play at rallies.

Two of my favorites from last cycle:

Frankie Sullivan suing Mike Huckabee for using "Eye of the Tiger" at his rally for Kim Davis the homophobic county clerk (made even sweeter by how terrible of a public speaker she turned out to be).

While it did not result in any actual litigation, R.E.M. very publicly objected to Trump's use of "End of the World." Michael Stipe is quoted as saying, ""Go f — yourselves, the lot of you — you sad, attention-grabbing, power-hungry little men. Do not use our music or my voice for your moronic charade of a campaign."

Trump's speech is being covered on CSPAN. It's easy to see why he's such an effective con artist. Faux promises one after the other along with fear mongering over and over.

This idiot is still promising magic health care. Does that cheering crowd not recall that was supposed to happen already? Do they not remember the GOP held both Houses of Congress and when the time came, no one, not one single Republican and certainly not Trump had the replacement plan after the repeal of the ACA.

But here's Trump doing it again, same false promises, same blaming Democrats and brown people for every promise Trump didn't actually keep. And of course Trump's claiming if you don't reelect him the economy will collapse. Everything will fall apart.

There are farmers trashing his trade policies and still saying they support Trump.

Forrest Gump was right. "Stupid is as stupid does". I can't believe the number people who have found excuses and made apologies for his abhorrent behavior.

And the democrats fault. And the media's fault.

Never mind the fact that his trade wars has driven up costs to consumers and manufacturers and ended up restricting the markets for farmers and manufacturers. Never mind the fact that his big tax cuts have driven up the deficit, that a large portion of the cuts went to stock buybacks rather than capital investments, and whatever stimulus the economy got from it was destined to be only temporary.

Well, I think Trump's China statement just gave the Impeachment movement a whole new impetus.....He is openly asking foreign govenments to move against a domestic political opponent. If that is not abuse of power, what the hell iS?
