Greta Thunberg - brave campaigner or deeply disturbed?

What were you doing when you were almost 17? I know what I was doing, and it was nowhere near as mature and socially responsible as what she's doing.

What she is doing doesn't turn her magically into an adult.

And let's face it. The fact she is a child is her whole sales pitch.

"You have stolen my dreams and my childhood!!!"

"I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean!!!”

(While reading those two quotes, you need to imagine it being read by Sylvester Stallone' at the end of Rambo II, to get the right level of acting"

Doesn't the fact that she considers her childhood to have been stolen suggest that she doesn't think of herself as a child any more?

Yes

She would rather be doing what she should be doing as a child and going to school, but they have made her become an international celebrity.

Hence the stealing her childhood.

You do realise that someone who is no longer a child can still say "you stole my childhood", right?

Which is an interesting point actually

When she hits 18, I'm wondering how much her following will die
