Ooh! That sucks. On the other hand, Bernie's not a spring chicken anymore, so this sort of stuff is expected, especially given the rigors of campaigning.

I'm sure the less rational Bernie Bros have a conspiracy theory ready, if it ever happens that he drops out entirely.
 
Based on my cursory reading, heart stent operations tend to have pretty quick recovery times, assuming no complications and that the stents alleviate the original issue.

Bernie could be back on the trail fairly soon.

It should be a question for the big 3 anyway. Warren, Biden, and Bernie are all septuagenarians. I think it would be very appropriate to demand some candor when it comes to "estate planning", so to speak, if they were to be the candidate/POTUS.

The VP is often a throwaway position, but in this case, the choice could very easily end up serving as POTUS. This should be addressed.

This really isn't a partisan issue. Trump is, by all estimation, an obese, unhealthy 73 year old man.

I love Bernie, but it is really damning that all of the serious candidates are so old. The D's need fresh blood desperately.

You don't need to convince Pelosi of that, she's been following the Elizabeth Bathory beauty regimen for decades. Her district includes Sunnydale.

Oh, for sure! This conversation is definitely at the stage where my convenience is by far the biggest factor for me, in considering how to continue.

In fact, you putting it in terms of convenience has caused me to seriously rethink the amount of effort I've been putting into tailoring my arguments specifically to make them more convenient for you in particular. I don't think I'm going to be doing much of that anymore.

So it's the end of an era. The days of our multi-page back and forth, where I keep trying to explain what I mean, and you keep Just Not Getting It, are over. If you're just not getting it, you're just not getting it. No need to struggle for days. Much more convenient to just call it after the first exchange, and move on.

Much more convenient for me, anyway.
