Like any good patriot would, they seem to have been waiting until the stupid bitch was on the ropes before they hit him with this. I hope there's much more like this coming.

Looks like some State Department employees also smell some blood in the water. The DOS IG asked for an urgent briefing in the morning because he has documents related to Ukraine.

Executing prisoners of war with bullets dipped in pig’s blood...

Going after the families of terrorists...

Abusing prisoners in custody...

Assassinating a president to ensure Supreme Court judges of your choosing.

I’m sure there are more, but those spring to mind pretty quickly.

Maybe it isn't true or he was joking. Maybe he was serious. Either way, SNL has got to do a skit on this.

I on the other hand hope they didn't purposefully wait in order to reveal this. That is, I don't mind them holding it back if there was some other purpose in play - honoring the terms of a book excerpt, for example. But not, "Ooh, this would be a great time to break out that immigration thing." I don't want them to be that cynical and manipulative. Not because it's a dirty trick against Trump, but because it would be cynical manipulation of their own readers.

Of course he was serious - in the moment. Just like he was when asked why we're not dropping atom bombs these days. He alluded to this "jokingly" while in the Florida. But IMO: This isn't the time to get seriously sidetracked on yet another stupid thing Trump has said. I don't think doing a humorous skit on this is a good idea either.

Indeed. Trump has more than proven himself capable of saying stupid things at a rate far greater than we can properly process them. Just keeping up on his stupid actions is a labor of Hercules...
