Is Joe Biden done? I hope so.

Meadmaker.

In what way is Bernie an "avowed socialist"? The only problem with it is that he once said it long ago.
There's nothing he proposes that calls for the scaremongering he usually receives.

He proposed a wealth registry just today. He's a socialist...

A whole lot of that responsibility lies with complacent Democrats who assumed that Hillary (another horrible choice) was a shoe in, and stayed home while the right came out to vote.

Sorry, in the era of Trump you don't get to use the word "horrible" to describe someone who, at worst, would've been another boring establishment stooge.

the top 15 wealthiest Americans as estimated by Forbes magazine would collectively have seen their net worth drop to just under $434 billion had Warren’s plan been in effect since 1982. That’s down from about $942 billion.

What a tragedy.

They're talking about getting divorced to avoid it:

How married couples can avoid Elizabeth Warren's wealth tax

They're already framing it as the "Million dollar marriage penalty".

If you've got millions to play with, why is keeping a few extra thousands so important?

I don't mind getting into a new tax bracket if my wages increase. What a bunch of greedy hogs.

The point is: We need money. They have money. So we're going to take their money. What are we going to spend it on? Who knows? Job creation? Hookers and blow? Kickbacks? Doesn't matter. What matters is, whatever we do with the money it's still better than letting them do things with it.

We're going to write off a lot of people's education debt, have universal k-16 education, and have actual UHC.

With plenty of dirty baggage all her own, Bengazi etc, so no, the Clintons suck to. Both parties suck, neither gets a pass.

Ben Ghazi? A nothinburger if there ever was one. For three years the Republicans tried to make a big deal out of that and that she had an email server set up in her home and got nothing.

I think Hillary was one of the least inspiring politicians I've seen. But she was super smart, incredibly hard working and a good human being.

Trump is none of those things. He's lazy, ignorant, self centered and boorish beyond belief. His political career is entirely the result of dividing the nation and appealing to the worst of us as people. He's a lying POS who I wouldn't trust with my dog let alone being responsible for the welfare of the nation.

Benghazi? Dude, you've been listening to right-wing talking points too much. There was nothing there.

As for the "etc.", what does it stand for? You couldn't name more than one thing? Personally the only thing that bothers me about her is that she seems to be in cahoots with Wall Street.

I agree.

When will I get mine? The clock is ticking.

Point is not if it's true or not, but most Amereican like to think of themselves as wealthy people to be who have not quite reached that point yet.

And I do not see this changing much.

Biden seems focused on bi-partisanship - his ability to 'work across the aisle'.
This is an obsolete strategy, and Joe seems out of touch.
As Mitch McConnell has demonstrated so convincingly; bi-partisanship is dead, deceased, no longer among the living, pining for the fjords.
Makes Joe look even older.

If bi partisan ship is dead, then democracy is dead, and all we have left is which brand of authorianism to choose.
That is one thing that scares me: that the left adapt the same exact tactics the GOP does on the grounds that "it's what works".
