Trump's bad, but IMHO Buchanan still is the worst, going by the damage he did the country.

The video embedded in the tweet kinda covers it.
Man is ranting about IIhan Omar partying on 11 September and by way of proof has some video of her dancing/partying with some friends. There's no evidence that the dancing/partying was on that date.

Trump’s interaction with the foreign leader included a “promise” that was regarded as so troubling that it prompted an official in the U.S. intelligence community to file a formal whistleblower complaint with the inspector general for the intelligence community, said the former officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
As far as I can tell Saudi Arabia is a far more repressive regime than Iran. In terms of foreign meddling, Iran is number one on a list of 3 state sponsors of terrorism. (The other two countries are Sudan and North Korea.) Saudi Arabia gets a pass although IMO they certainly do their bit to export terrorism/extremism.Not an Iran hawk, but also think that Iran gets cut a bit too much slack around here. IMHO morally, little to choose between Iran and Saudi, except that Iran seems to have a slightly better PR machine, and is smart enough to conduct it's killings on the quiet.
I don't know, the title sounds like someone who was planted in the State Department to keep an eye on the agency. I read somewhere Trump has numerous plants in the bureaucracy.Yeah, and President Trump worked for a long time with Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs at the State Department. I’m not convinced that last week he even knew the position existed and I am pretty sure he didn’t know who was in that post.

But the “genius” has to lay claim to knowing everything and everyone.

Not only do they get a pass, Trump can't sell them enough hi tech weapons. As far as I can tell Saudi Arabia is a far more repressive regime than Iran. This whistleblower kerfuffle is getting interesting. How it's shaping up thus far...
On a phone call to a foreign leader, Trump makes a "promise" that alarms an intelligence official who had access to the call transcript (if not audio, we might wonder). The latter reports it to the IG, who deems the complaint credible and urgent, and then forwards it to the (acting) DNI, as prescribed by black letter law. The latter is then to inform the House Intelligence Committee within 7 days. But the acting DNI instead consults with the Justice Department, which agency is not permitted to be involved. Moreover, the White House may have been brought into the loop as well. A request by Adam Schiff for the complaint was ignored, and tomorrow (Thursday) the acting DNI is supposed to appear before the HIC.
The whistleblower laws are very clear, but the Barr JD could be glomming onto one clause which states something to the effect that the IG (? memory hazy here) is not subject to oversight by the Justice Dep't, which they might be using to twist to some new interpretation.
The foregoing is my flawed recollection after seeing this covered by Lawrence O'Donnell.
It sure looks like some number of Departments have been corrupted and are acting to shield a POTUS who is a clear security risk/threat.
One mooted motivation: Trump could have promised Putin normalized relations during the call in which aid to fight Russian wildfires was discussed, in return for help in the next election. A theory, to be sure, but well within the bounds of possibility. Trump will certainly be desperate to not lose in 2020, because of the statute of limitations having not run out on some of his shenanigans, particularly the campaign contribution business Cohen is currently doing time for.

Saudi Arabia is the single biggest contributor to the funding of Islamic extremism and is unwilling to cut off the money supply, according to a leaked note from Hillary Clinton.
The US Secretary of State says in a secret memorandum that donors in the kingdom still "constitute the most significant source of funding to Sunni terrorist groups worldwide" and that "it has been an ongoing challenge to persuade Saudi officials to treat terrorist financing emanating from Saudi Arabia as a strategic priority".
However, it is Saudi Arabia that receives the harshest assessment. The country from which Osama bin Laden and most of the 9/11 terrorists originated, according to Mrs Clinton, "a critical financial support base for al-Qa'ida, the Taliban, Lashkar-e-Toiba and other terrorist groups, including Hamas, which probably raise millions of dollars annually from Saudi sources, often during the Haj and Ramadan".
