Brett Kavanaugh should start suing people for liable, or the Justice Department should come to his rescue. The lies being told about him are unbelievable. False Accusations without recrimination. When does it stop? They are trying to influence his opinions. Can’t let that happen!

This is likely what Trump is responding to:

The coward, or more likely someone on his staff, has deleted the tweet and reposted it. But still with DOJ coming to his rescue. A spelling mistake has to be fixed, but disdain for the first amendment? No problem.

He's fighting everybody! Democrats, Republicans, Deep State, Fake News, California. Philadelphia. Hurricane Dorian and the Weather Service. The law. China. Angela Merkel. And most of his own staff too, it seems. The guy is an absolute legend! The whole world seems to be against him, but he is still swinging! What a hero! :rolleyes:
 
For me, Trump's disgusting tweets say more about him than anything else. They reveal him to be a loathsome, childish, narcissistic, lying, abhorrent toad of a little man. I can only read so much before I start to feel literally nauseated and depressed. I have disliked many politicians in the past, most notably GWB for his disastrous invasion of Iraq based on a lie. But I loathe Trump so much more than GWB.

Gotta wonder if that might all backfire on Stubby McBonespurs.

At the time of his confirmation, opinion polls showed the majority of people were opposed to his confirmation (either wanting more investigation or for him to be outright rejected.)

Had the NYTimes simply published their reports, it might quickly be forgotten. But with Trump pushing the narrative about how how "Kavanaugh is being mistreated", the story might end up in the news for longer than it would have. (This might be especially significant in the Senate races in Maine, where Susan Collins has lost a lot of popularity, in part because her vote in favor of Drunky McRapeface. Keep reminding voters about him, and more might decide to turn on Collins.)

Trump has no idea at all how the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve works. He very likely can't even spell it right one time out of three tries. This is the work and writing of someone a lot smarter less insane than Donny.

Agreed. He probably thinks US Strategic Petroleum Reserve is a golf resort.
 
I saw a very recent CNN interview of Eric Holder today. He has sunk a little in my estimation. Because he recommends to NOT charge Trump after leaving office. Supposedly this would be too damaging to the country. WTF?! Talk about telegraphing the double standard of justice for the rich and powerful vs that for the rest of us. Is a demonstrably criminal President too big and important a national symbol to have to face the consequences of his misfeasance? Well then, talk about a freakin' good gig for the unscrupulous, with that door invitingly wide open under a sign reading, "Criminals Welcome!"

Even the law abiding are becoming desensitized to the harm being done. The banana republic of the US and A is just around the corner, at this rate.
