CSICon 2019: A Skeptical Conference with the Top Minds in its Guests and Attendees!

I was reminded that, last year, we had a strong contingency from JREF/TAM members at CSICon. See the attached group photo we took of all the Randi community members.

Perhaps the photo can be just as large, if not bigger, this year?!

I can see lots of the "regulars", but not myself. When/where was this picture taken?

I'm not in the photo. Therefore it's pretty much meaningless.

We made some announcements about it, and had a big sign by the Guerrilla Skeptics booth, during CSICon, last year, you know.

I may actually be in Vegas that week for another conference. If so, I'll try to swing by and say howdy. I doubt I'll be able to volunteer, though.

Sorry, I was going with Scott's "make it up" instructions over your insistence, with evidence, that it should be considered something real. Evidence is so last Tuesday.
 
Hey, The Amazing Meeting was (very kindly) mocked by Nobel Prize winning physician Hans Rosling in the 2017 book, "Factfulness".

Bill Gates has been giving the book to all US college graduates.

Wowbags, do you know what year Hans Rosling was a speaker?

He was talking about how even "the Top Minds" do much worse than a chimpanzee (grabbing one of three numbers) at knowing facts about the world because of the human "fight and flight" fear response.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
