That's likely, or a radio interview on the book. It would be interesting to see if Trump's golf game has deteriorated as much as other things seem to have.

How could you tell though? It isn't like any record of it would be accurate.

That doesn't seem like Trump. I thought he always used a gold sharpie. You know, a cheap tool that gives the appearance of wealth (like Trump himself.)

(Joke appropriated from John Oliver.)

No, that's AOC and her Green New Deal. Trump is a true expert in 36D Ches(ts).

*chortle* It just cracks me up that people still take him seriously. There are people that defend this guy regularly and there's no limit to them getting enough of his ********. I saw this same thing posted on Facebook, and one of the first replies was, "His job isn't to know about weather, it's to take care of emergencies."

Great, he's doing ******* neither, so now what?

Maybe he thinks that by drawing in the added bit with a Sharpie that the hurricane will do as he told it and actually go to Alabama.

Next headline: OLD MAN TRUMP SHOUTS AT CLOUDS!

And isn't that why Grandpa now lives in a facility?

A bit more news on Trump's wall:

https://www.vox.com/2019/9/4/20848968/trump-border-wall-mexico-military
Pentagon officials on Tuesday said that the Defense Department will take out $3.6 billion from 127 existing military construction projects and reallocate those funds to put up about 175 miles of wall. Half the money will come from projects originally meant for the US and its territories, and the other half from international ones.

It wasn't unexpected (we knew Trump had plans to divert military funds to build the wall from earlier in the year). But now we have an idea of what projects will be impacted. (I think a full list of projects is to be released later today.)

I wonder how much of an impact this might have on the republicans. Not only among active soldiers who might see needed infrastructure delayed, but in various states where projects are delayed (since military construction could provide an economic stimulus in certain areas.)

SOme of these cuts will have a direct and negative impact on the combat readiness of troops. That is bad, bad, bad.
Trump obsession to built the wall is scary. He thinks his reelection depends on it so look for even more outrageous actions.

That is what a personality cult is all about, blind faith in a infallible leader.

Now Trump is claiming the doctored map was the original weather map.
Trump total inability to admit he made a mistake is incredible. And his lies to try to cover up his mistake make him look a hundred times worse then the original mistake.
This whole "to ever admit I made a mistake is a sign of weakness" just shows how insane his obsession with being "Strong " is.
As someone once said, Trump is a weak man's fantasy of what a strong man is like.

"It was so the real map," Trump insisted to reporters. "The Weather King came by in person. He said I was the best, the greatest president ever." Then "There is so a Weather King! He lives in a huge house made out of candy. I've stayed there. I built that house, actually, my company did, it's a luxury golf club. I got nine holes in one there once. A hundred holes in one. I'm so good at golf I can hit two balls at once and they both make holes in one, the Weather King saw it. I invented golf."

I'm reading that, in order for Trump *not* to be wrong in saying that hurricane Dorian will hit Alabama, someone has taken a marker pen to the official weather map plotting its course and added a little loop into Alabama.

"That belatedly added loop rings Alabama into the path of Dorian. On Sunday Trump claimed, wrongly, that Dorian could hit Alabama.

The National Weather Service, a government agency, quickly responded that Alabama would NOT see any impact from Alabama. Rather than backdown, Trump yet again wrongly claimed Alabama might be effected." link

Furthermore, Near as I can tell from the eye’s location, that is a map of potential movement from Friday? Even if the plot were accurate, it would be at least 33 hours out of date because he made the announcement Sunday morning.

I wish I could get the words pigeon chess out of my mind.

Also, no one in the White House has a compass? They just drew it freehand?

Trump is now invoking spaghetti model maps from last Thursday to argue that he was right, claiming "this was the original projected path" despite the fact that the spaghetti model consists of nearly two dozen different tracks, only a handful of which touched Alabama at that time. The spaghetti model is a visualization of raw computer-model data which is used by forecasters when making forecasts; but the graphic itself is not a forecast, and the NWS forecast from that day is the map that Trump edited with marker, not the spaghetti graphic. Trump would never have been shown the spaghetti model because it is misleading; it has been dug up by aides in a desperate bid to save Trump's face over his Alabama predictions, which were made on Sunday (of note, not even the spaghetti plots from Sunday touched Alabama; in fact Dorian's turn before the coast of Florida was first being forecast by the NWS on Friday morning, more than two days before Trump's false tweets). It seems that Trump is trying so hard to be right here that he's essentially claiming that FEMA was briefing him with three-days-obsolete information on Sunday and doesn't realize it.
