Audio desync is very common in videos, especially when they've been uploaded online. Notice that the guy's lips aren't in sync with his words, either.

People wont understand your joke because few will click your link, and fewer still will pay attention to what was said or who said it and why.

Personally I thought it was funny, and even a zinger of a point as well. Very well played. But to what end? That is important to spell out in order that you are perceived in the correct way and not just another racist scum trying to defend the indefensible.

Hopefully you are not, but leaving the post up for ahem ... interpretation ... means you leave yourself open.

How is the comment by Brennan a “left-wing standard” and therefore a “zinger of a point”?

And why would someone need to promote a conspiracy theory to make it?
 
I'm not sure that "it's okay to judge people of one political persuasion by the words of someone else who vaguely shares that political persuasion" is something that anybody should be looking to establish. There's a lot of people of all persuasions who say a lot of stupid things, especially if the rules allow for quote-mining. This holds true even if we limit it to "appearances on or in major media outlets".

Trump, to pick a name out of a hat, was just today lamenting that Sweden's prime minister won't interfere in a criminal investigation, and the Swedish prime minister has had to issue a statement to the effect that due process is an important part of the Swedish justice system that the prime minister cannot interfere with.

If that example is to be deemed too different because Trump is advocating that someone is innocent without due process, rather than that they are guilty without due process, how about when he, on camera, unambiguously answered a reporter's question by saying that he believed the government should take people's guns away without due process?

Point is, it's an incredibly stupid thing to want to establish as a standard by which to judge people who hold certain political opinions, and if you do establish it then you should be prepared to yourself be judged by the same standard.

Besides, if you want to criticise Brennan, and by extension Obama, and by extension anybody on the left-wing (stupid though that may be), then there are far better things to criticise him for. Like, for example, his endorsement of torture.

LOLZ Very funny way you twisted that with the "and therefore" as if they are necessarily linked when part of my whole point was that they might be or might not be according to interpretation and Bogative should clarify this sort of thing rather than just leave the joke out there... That is just one of many possible interpretations that could be made... but clearly it is obvious to everyone that Brennan has been highly critical of Trump and he has been hired as an analyst for a very left leaning national network. Pointing out that hypocrisy was actually a pretty good "gotcha". Rather embarrassing for the left I am certain.

hahaha What a gem! You can't possibly be that dim as to not understand. Really? I mean it seriously. I am not a Trump supporter and never was. I even hated his stupid TV show. Yet I am fully capable of seeing the hypocrisy in this attitude. Talk about delusional! OMG!:jaw-dropp
