So Robert Mueller has now asked for his long time Never Trumper lawyer to sit beside him and help with answers. What’s this all about? His lawyer represented the “basement server guy” who got off free in the Crooked Hillary case. This should NOT be allowed. Rigged Witch Hunt!

And just in case you felt a sense of deja vu, this was the one from 3 hours earlier:
Just got back only to hear of a last minute change allowing a Never Trumper attorney to help Robert Mueller with his testimony before Congress tomorrow. What a disgrace to our system. Never heard of this before. VERY UNFAIR, SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED. A rigged Witch Hunt!

He's never heard of a lawyer being allowed to be present during Congressional testimony? Hope Hicks was prevented by lawyers 155 times from answering questions during her Congressional testimony.

I doubt they were comforted by the idea that he had to think it over in the first place.

And given his penchant for changing his mind in an instant, I doubt they draw much comfort from the conclusion he came to this time. There's always a next time with Trump.

Um, right. I was kidding.

Well, at least Trump is handling the immigration issue with his usual efficiency.

Remember those big huge ICE raids that were supposed to result in thousands of illegal aliens being swept up? The ones Trump called "very successful"?

The immigration enforcement operation touted by U.S. President Donald Trump that targeted more than 2,000 people resulted in 35 arrests, officials said Tuesday...Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Matthew Albence conceded the number was lower than other operations.

I literally rounded up more drunken sailors then that without even trying while pulling Shore Patrol duty in foreign ports.

Toulon, France. 2002. The USS Theodore Roosevelt had been deployed for 186 days straight without a port visit, the longest unbroken underway since WWII (Long, complicated story short we deployed early because of 9/11, got relieved on station late because another character broke down, and spent the time in between in an area where there were no friendly ports close enough for us to realistically head to for a port break). 6,800 sailors. The French Navy was nice enough to let us use one of their carrier piers (not a lot of places where you can pull an aircraft carrier in, most of the time we had to anchor out near our port visits and go ashore in small boats.)

In all fairness the crew behaved perfectly fine all things considered and all we were "courtesy" turnovers from the local authorities of sailors who had had a little too much fun.

Yeah but they aren't as dangerous as illegal immigrants, all of which are rapists, murderers and members of MS13 (although some, I assume, are good people.)

Local community here is in an uproar after ICE got police to smash in a car window after their suspect refused to comply with their "paperless warrant."

He is undocumented/unlawfully present, but came originally as a minor, when it was only a civil violation, has a family with children here, etc.

About 6 months ago they took a woman leaving a custody hearing at court.

Yeah, I call ******** on only targeting the dangerous ones.

It took ICE three weeks to release an American they believed to be an illegal immigrant.

Hey you can't trust those lying MS13 types just because they show you a passport.

Just keep them locked up with no laywers and then there was nothing wrong see

"On Monday, an appeals court ruled that Watson, now 32, is not eligible for any of that money — because while his case is "disturbing," the statute of limitations actually expired while he was still in ICE custody without a lawyer."

Illegally detained for 3 years nothing wrong with that at all.

Wouldn't be the first time. They've actually deported a number of actual citizens, for that matter, at last check.

Anyways, a bit more on the Trump-Epstein connection.

Basically, Trump screwed Epstein over on a deal, then ratted him out to the cops re: his sexual ‘proclivities’, which resulted in the case where Acosta gave him the sweetheart deal to make it go away. Trump apparently did ratted on Epstein, because Epstein was threatening to expose Trump’s financial fraud and possible money laundering.

The property in question is the one that Trump sold to a Russian for $95MM, after he paid $41MM, snatching the property out from under Epstein, who’d been the high bid $36 MM and was in the process of finalizing the sale.

Epstein shared the fact of the sale with Trump. Trump went behind his back and arranged with Deutsche bank to get 100% financing @ 5 MM more than Epstein’s bid.

Epstein knew Trump was probably fronting for someone and threatened to expose him for fraud and possible money-laundering — BIG MISTAKE for Epstein, good thing for the young girls he was preying on.

Epstein knew Trump didn’t have the money to pay for anything, but for SOME reason, Deutsche Bank advanced him the money and Epstein may know why.

When Epstein discovered this, he was incensed. The two men squabbled about it. And Trump did what he always does: he doubled down on the back-stabbing he was already doing to his erstwhile good friend: Jeffrey Epstein.

If this is true... it makes Barr's attempt to interfere all the more understandable, in light of his real job - "Trump's fixer."

While talking about 10 million dead Afghanis, President Trump said that the US is re-building [empasis is mine] schools and we shouldn’t be doing that. He went on to say they should be doing that.

So much for General Powell’s famous “you break it, you own it” philosophy.

A judge has ruled that President Trump, his company and three of his children must face a class-action lawsuit over an alleged multilevel marketing scam

President Donald Trump, his company and three of his children must face a class-action lawsuit in which people claim they were scammed into spending money on fraudulent, multilevel marketing ventures and a dubious live-seminar program.

U.S. District Judge Lorna Schofield in Manhattan ruled Wednesday that the case can go forward with claims of fraud, unfair competition, and deceptive trade practices. The decision likely opens the door for the plaintiffs to start gathering pretrial evidence, including documents and testimony.

Schofield also dismissed federal racketeering claims, eliminating allegations that could have netted triple damages for the plaintiffs.

A group of four people claims the Trumps ripped off thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs by promoting two bogus multilevel marketing ventures and the live-seminar program that promised to teach Trump’s “secrets to success” in real estate. They’re seeking to sue on behalf of a nationwide class of people they claim were also cheated.
