If unhappy Americans emigrated there would be a lot less Trump voters left. But i guess everything is now well in the rustbelt and people are happy, ecstatic even. People aren't killing themselves out of despair with drugs and alcohol anymore, right? The old steel foundry's have re opened and the factories are back up?

What surprises me a little (though these days not so much as it might once have) is how few people (especially Repubicans) have noticed that, along with Trump's outrageously racist and xenophobic and simply erroneous comments, he's shown himself to be a complete civic moron. When we elect legislators, what they are supposed to do - what we have hired them to do - is to say how the country should be run. The idea that this is something wrong is not just stupid. It's deeply anti-democratic and unamerican.

Well, yes. Trump seems to think he is one too. But I did not qualify the quality or honesty of that description. Trump operates more in the mold of "make them an offer they can't refuse" type of businessman. Or at least, he would like to think that's what he is. ;)

To be honest, I would suggest he is a low-level, small-time, rather unsuccessful scam-artist with the right sort of ****-'em-all personality to ride through the mistakes. Putin and Kim, and increasingly the GOP head-honcho recalcitrants it seems, view him, rightly, as a "useful ******* idiot".
 
From further away, I'm finding it harder and harder every day to distinguish what and how Trump talks from what comes out of obvious race-baiting troll sites like Infowars. Same ****, another mouthpiece?

I like how president Trump, despite an all out media campaign, has said these foreign-born terror babies should apologize to HIM. This shows that he's not a cuck. Being a racist is not nearly as bad as being a cuck. The only way being a racist is worse than being a cuck is if you oppose Israeli aggression, in which case you're the worst kind of racist imaginable.

Actually, that's a more recent development and it doesn't explain 3/4 of a century of blind support for Israel.
